2. loading procedure pr pull the slide to its rearmost position and let it glide automatically gt pa to its forward starting d position 14 A WARNING IF THERE IS ANY INDICATION OR THE OPERATION OF YOUR HANDGUN HAS CHANGED THE WAY IT FEELS OR SOUNDS STOP FIRING MAKE SURE THE FIREARM IS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION UNLOAD THE FIREARM AND HAVE IT INSPECTED AND TEST FIRED BY A GUNSMITH QUALIFIED TO PERFORM SERVICE ON CARACAL PISTOLS 101 Ifa cartridge fails to fire wait ten seconds while keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction 10 2 Keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard 10 3 Remove the magazine 10 4 Grip the serrated sides of the slide from the rear and pull the slide fully rearward to eject the misfired Cartridge Do not obstruct the ejection chamber and do not attempt to catch the round by placing your hand over the ejection chamber Also remember that any time you release the slide while a magazine containing cartridges Is in the pistol you automatically reload the chamber 10 5 Upon removing the magazine lock the slide using the slide catch lever barrel should be pointed away from the user in the open position You are now able to safely check the barrel chamber and bore visually for any obstructions You must be certain there are no cartridges in the chamber or obstructions in the barrel Point the muzzle in a safe direction Make Sure your finger is off the trigger

THE PISTOL READY TO FIRE A WARNING ALWAYS LOAD A ROUND INTO THE CHAMBER BY FEEDING IT FROM THE MAGAZINE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS WARNING CAN RESULT IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH TO YOU OR OTHERS NEVER ATTEMPT TO LOAD THE PISTOL BY INSERTING A ROUND INTO THE OPEN EJECTION PORT 91 Loading the magazine 911 Each cartridge Is pushed down and back in into the magazine against the tension of the magazine spring with the cartridge base facing forward 9 2 Inserting the magazine into the grip The magazine must be pushed completely into the grip until the magazine catch engages 9 3 Loading the pistol eee a a A lt 9 3 1 Hold the pistol with the shooting hand the trigger finger must be outside the trigger area 3 9 3 2 The other hand pulls the slide back abruptly to its rearmost position and lets the slide glide back to its starting position by itself 94 Firing A WARNING ALWAYS KEEP THE MUZZLE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION A WARNING UPON FIRING THE PISTOL OR RELEASING THE SLIDE FROM THE SLIDE STOP THE SLIDE MOVES REARWARD OR FORWARD WITH SIGNIFICANT FORCE AND SPEED TO AVOID INJURY BE SURE NO PART OF YOUR BODY IS IN THE PATH OF THE SLIDE S TRAVEL A WARNING WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION SPECIFIED FOR FIREARM USE EVERY TIME YOU DISCHARGE YOUR FIREARM MAKE SURE OTHERS ARE ALSO AWARE OF YOUR INTENTION TO DISCHARGE YOUR FIREARM IN THE VICINITY OF WHERE YOU WILL BE SHOOTING A W

THE TRIGGER IS PULLED A WARNING A LOADED CHAMBER INDICATOR MAY HELP DETERMINE WHETHER THE CHAMBER IS LOADED OR UNLOADED THE AMOUNT OF LIGHT CLEANLINESS OF THE PISTOL DISCOLORATION OF THE AMMUNITION AND OTHER FACTORS MAY LIMIT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE LOADED CHAMBER INDICATOR 10 A WARNING CARACAL PISTOLS WILL FIRE WITH THE MAGAZINE REMOVED ALWAYS KEEP THE FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER AND OUTSIDE THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE THE COMMITMENT TO FIRE Do not load the pistol until you have read the user manual and fully understand this manual Do not load the pistol until you are ready to use it Never load your pistol until you are sure of your target If the magazine is removed with a round left in the chamber be sure to holster or otherwise safely secure the pistol under your direct control while the magazine is being reloaded Do not interchange magazines from one model pistol to another model pistol Follow instructions in this manual and any other specific instructions which may be marked onto or accompany a magazine Do not attempt to load your magazine with more than the specified number of cartridges doing so can cause a feeding failure and or sever injury to the user and people close to the user 11 A WARNING DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE UPWARD FORCE WHEN INSERTING A LOADED MAGAZINE INTO THE PISTOL EXCESSIVE UPWARD FORCE COULD CAUSE THE SLIDE TO MOVE FORWARD CHAMBERING A ROUND AND RENDERING
6. and out of the trigger guard 11 1 Remove the magazine by pressing the magazine catch either at the left or right side of the weapon 11 2 Keep the muzzle still pointed in a safe direction and keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard grasp the serrated sides of the slide from ae nn the rear with the thumb gt and fingers and briskly draw the slide fully rearward in order to extract any cartridge from the barrel chamber and clear it from the pistol 11 3 Let the slide glide back to its foremost position and pull the trigger Point the muzzle in a safe direction Remove the magazine and retract the Slide The round in the chamber is extracted and ejected A WARNING MAKE A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE BARREL IT MUST BE CLEAR 121 For securing the weapon with the key lock system 12 11 Bring the pistol unloaded in the cocked position 12 1 2 If there is a magazine In the pistol remove It 12 1 3 Lock the key lock system and remove the key 12 1 4 Attach the key lock system to the pistol until it is completely locked in place Note The key lock system can be only attached if the pistol is cocked 12 1 5 The pistol is locked when The slide can NOT be moved or retracted The trigger can NOT be moved The key lock can NOT be removed A ONLY SECURE THE PISTOL WITH THE KEY LOCK SYSTEM AFTER MAKING SURE THAT IT IS IN UNLOADED STATUS 12 2 For
7. removing the key lock system 12 2 1 Open the key lock with the key and pull it out of the magazine shaft 12 2 2 After removing the key lock system it can be used immediately A PLEASE ENSURE THAT A LIVE ROUND IS NOT IN THE CHAMBER Please refer to point 7 to clear firearm 131 To secure the pistol push the manual safety button to the left Note that the manual safety button could not be pushed left to the safety if the pistol is not ready to fire Slide not racked 13 2 To go back to the firing position push the manual safety button to the right Please take note for both 9 1 amp 9 2 above the pistol should be always facing away from the user in a safe direction A WARNING WEAR SAFETY GLASSES EVERY TIME YOU ASSEMBLE OR DISASSEMBLE YOUR MAGAZINE A WARNING BEWARE OF THE SPRING TENSION EXERTED BY THE MAGAZINE SPRING WHILE REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE MAGAZINE FLOORPLATE KEEP THE BASE OF THE MAGAZINE POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION AWAY FROM THE FACE AND EYES AT ALL TIMES DURING DISASSEMBLY 141 DISASSEMBLY 14 11 Using a drift punch depress the spring through the hole in floor plate 14 1 2 Slide floor plate out of tube while holding the spring in the tube 14 1 3 Remove spring and follower out through bottom of tube 14 2 ASSEMBLY 14 2 1 Install magazine spring and follower into the tube In exactly the same orientation as they were In when they were first removed during disassembly

ARNING STAGING THE TRIGGER VIOLATES A BASIC RULE OF FIREARM SAFETY WHICH WARNS YOU TO KEEP YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE THE COMMITMENT TO FIRE STAGING CREATES A SERIOUS RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH SINCE IT MAY LEAD TO AN UNINTENTIONAL DISCHARGE 9 41 The finger which should trigger the shot pulls the trigger safety device to Its rearmost position and thereby releases this safety device 13 25 9 4 2 By pulling further from now on directly on the 9 4 3 trigger the firing pin and drop safety devices are deactivated Further pulling on the trigger causes a shot to be fired 9 4 4 The trigger is brought back to its forward 9 4 5 position by spring pressure when the trigger finger yields to this spring pressure To fire off another shot the trigger is to be pulled back again to its rearmost position This mechanism is known as the semi automatic function After the last cartridge is spent the slide remains held in its rearmost position 9 4 6 The magazine is to be removed from the weapon by pressing the magazine catch whereby the magazine catch at the left or right side of the weapon can be pressed Firing off further shots 25 Cr 95 2 Asdescribed inthe gA lt Insert a loaded magazine as already described and push the slide stop lever down through which the slide is released and glides to its forward starting position

12. and 6 1 3 The trigger and the trigger safety device are at their forward position and 6 1 4 The trigger drop and firing pin safety devices are activated and 6 1 5 The cocking indicator appears visibly and tangibly from the rear section of the slide and 6 1 6 The extractor pivots with Its rear end visibly and tangibly into the slide thereby indicating a loaded chamber The pistol does NOT have a manually operated safety device nor a decocking evel 6 1 7 The pistol has a self loading mechanism which brings the slide to its rearmost position after the shot Is fired thereby the extractor ejects the fired shell and during its forward motion the slide transports a new cartridge from the magazine into the chamber Shooting can take place until the last cartridge has been fired after which the slide remains held open in its rear position please refer to point 13 for optional manual safety 8 A WARNING MAKE SURE THAT THE PISTOL IS UNLOADED CHAMBER CLEARED BARREL CLEAR FROM ANY OBSTRUCTIONS AND MAGAZINE IS OUT FOR INSPECTION TIl eZ ike 14 S When you inspect your pistol you should first check for yourself to ensure that it is unloaded To do this grip the pistol with your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard point the muzzle in a safe direction press the magazine lever and remove the magazine Point the muzzle in a safe direction grip the serrated sides of the slide from the rear with the
