10. 5 PRIMAR Online services PRIMAR online service consists of the following service levels PRIMAR Online using PRIMAR Chart Catalogue PRIMAR Online using e mail notification PRIMAR Online using ECDIS ECS 5 1 PRIMAR Online using PRIMAR Chart Catalogue PRIMAR Online is an internet based service for maintaining a licensee s ENC portfolio It gives users direct access to the PRIMAR ENC database with delivery of all updates new editions and permit files issued to the user s ENC coverage by using PRIMAR Chart Catalogue as a client PRIMAR Chart Catalogue Provides user friendly functionality for customer licensee registration and eases order management using a graphical shopping basket The PRIMAR Chart Catalogue gives the end users the possibility to create an ENC shopping basket which can be forwarded to a distributor for order processing It also provides flexible functionality for identifying new ENC information and impact on end users ENC portfolios The distributor manages all users and their ENC coverage using the PRIMAR Chart Catalogue He will also use the application to activate the PRIMAR Online service for his users The PRIMAR Chart Catalogue contains a licensee status report showing the latest chart update date of all the licensees The distributor is responsible of monitoring and ensuring that the licensees are using the service Each user will use the PRIMAR Chart Catalogue to access the PRIMAR ENC Online service
