AMERICAN WEIGH AMS 150 Digital Pocket Scale 150g x 0 1g USER S MANUAL American Weigh AMS 150 User s Manual 150g x 0 1g Thank you for purchasing the AMS 150 Digital Pocket Scale With normal care and proper treatment it will provide you with years of reliable service Please read all operating instructions carefully before using the scale It may be necessary to calibrate the scale before its first use Avoid any exposure to extreme heat or cold Your scale will work better when operating in normal room temperature Allways allow the scale to acclimate to normal room temperature for at least an hour before use Give the scale sufficient warm up time before use Usually 30 to 60 seconds to give the internal components time to stablize Keep your scale in a clean environment Dust dirt moisture vibra tion air currents or a close proximity to other electronic equipment can cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale Handle with care Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the weighing surface Although this scale is designed to be quite durable avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal sensor Do not shake drop or otherwise shock the scale This is a precision instrument and must be handled with2. extreme care Only operate the scale on a stable vibration free surface Always store in a dry place to avoid moisture accumulation on internal components I Operation Place the scale on a horizontal flat surface 1 Press ON OFF key 2 Wait until 0 0 is displayed 3 Put the object s on the weighing platform 4 Using the M key you can switch between the weighing modes Il Tare Weighing 1 Turn on scale as described above 2 Place the tare item on the platform 3 Press T and wait until 0 0 is displayed 4 Add the net weight item Ill Calibration 1 Press I O key to reset the scale 2 Press and hold the M and T buttons simultaneously until a random number is displayed Release the M and T buttons and wait for the number to stabilize then press M The display will show 2Ero 3 Place a 100g weight on the center of the platform Wait two seconds then press the M key again The LCD will display PASS 5 Remove the weight and turn off the scale Calibration is complete IV Troubleshooting The primary reason for inaccuracy or malfunction are low bat teries overload or operating on an unstable surface Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale prop erly This scale is a precision instrument and must be handled with care Error Code Descriptions Error Nothing on screen LO Solution Replace Batteries Error EEEE Solution Load is in excess of 100
