4. be done regularly or on all occasions before you start your engine All the tasks and adjustments described below can be done easily by following the instructions given in this manual Refer to your POLINI MOTORI dealer for scheduled services and repairs and insist that only original spare parts are used to replace worn or broken components Refer to the servicing tables in sections 12 below for the frequency with which the various servicing operations must be performed 9 1 REMOVE AND CLEAN THE AIR FILTER Dirty air filter is one of the most common causes of poor engine performance Clean the filter periodically or change it Remove the filter loosening the clamps unscrew the 4 screws using a cross screwdriver remove the filter cover and then the filter Wash the filtering material with water and mild soap Dry the filter carefully and then moisten it with oil for filters Clean filter box inside using a cloth and check the presence of foreign bodies Now reassemble all the parts being careful to place correctly the 4 bars that maintain the filter in its position and tight the 4 screws again Wash the filter for maximum 2 3 times and then replace it with a new one ZAWARNING If the filter becomes clogged with fine dust as well as normal dirt replace it with a new one ZA WARNING Dirty air filter may compromise the correct operation of the engine and it causes poor performance Torn or broken filters can allow dirt to enter the engine and

7. il cordino sulla rotella rispettando il senso di entrata del cordino sulla rotella Foto 12 A questo punto inserire nuovamente tutta la ruota in plastica nella sua sede verificando attraverso l apposito foro che il gancio interno della molla sia perfettamente agganciato foto 13 riposizionare le molle i denti di innesto avviamento e riavvitare il coperchio utilizzando frena filetti medio Tutte le parti in movimento comprese le molle devono essere adeguatamente ingrassate Ora procediamo a caricare la molla di ritorno prendere il capo del cordino lasciandolo fuori uscire circa 10 20 centimetri dall apposita asola a forma di u posta sul lato esterno della rotella Ora facciamo compiere alla stessa 3 giri completi in senso antiorario fino a trovarci davanti al foro di uscita sul carter di alluminio Tenendo ferma la ruota in plastica fare passare il cordino attraverso il foro del carter Infilare la moniglia la rondella e fare un nodo semplice ben stretto come in foto 14 ATTENZIONE Verificare che la molla di ritorno non raggiunga il fine corsa tirare totalmente la corda e girare ulteriormente la rotella per verificare che questa pu compiere almeno un giro prima di bloccarsi Questo controllo importantissimo perch la molla non studiata per arrivare a fine corsa e se questo avviene si romper Rimontare l avviatore sul motore riavvitando le 4 viti m5 con la necessaria forza vedi tabelle serraggi 9 5 SOSTITUZIONE CORDA

9. ora di utilizzo Verificarla nuovamente dopo 5 ore e successivamente ogni 10 ore e sostituirla con una cinghia nuova originale Polini ogni 50 ore oppure una volta all anno Se la cinghia non correttamente tensionata avr uno slittamento che ne pu ridurre la vita ma peggio ancora pu provocare delle vibrazioni al motore che potrebbero in casi gravi condurre alla rottura del motore stesso o di sue componenti Per il modello senza frizione relativamente facile avvertire un eventuale slittamento della cinghia infatti si ha un aumento dei giri massimi del motore e una perdita di spinta Per il motore con la frizione pu risultare pi difficile percepire che la cinghia non correttamente tensionata Per queste motivazioni importante controllare il tensionamento della cinghia prima di ogni volo 9 3 REGOLAZIONE ANTICIPO SOLO PER MODELLI CON VOLANO IN ALLUMINIO SENZA AVVIAMENTO ELETTRICO NAVVERTENZA Questa regolazione necessaria solo se l accensione viene smontata e va effettuata da personale qualificato che dispone di idonea attrezzatura Avvitare una vite m 5x30 nel foro con filetto passante del volano e bloccarla Montare il volano e inserire la vite nel foro sul carter il volano rimarr fissato foto 5 Awitare il dado del volano senza bloccarlo in modo tale che l albero motore possa girare nel volano Avvitare nel foro della candela il supporto del comparatore posizionare il comparatore e portare il pistone al punto

AVVIATORE STANDARD Rimuovere l avviatore dal motore svitando le 4 viti foto9 Rimuovere il vecchio cordino Fare attezione perche la ruota centrale ruotera fino a completo scaricamento della molla trattenerla e farla scaricare lentamente in modo da evitare danni e pericolo di farsi male Preparare il cordino nuovo facendo un nodo ad un capo dello stesso Rimosso completamente il vecchio cordino trattenendo con una mano la parte esterna far ruotare la parte interna in senso antiorario di 5 giri Fermare la rotazione quando il foro nella ruota interna si trova in corrispondenza del foro sulla parte esterna foto 15 A questo punto prendere il nuovo cordino ed infilare in entrambi i fori contemporane amente il capo non annodato del cordino foto 15 Far passare completamente la fune fino a quando il nodo va in battuta Facendo ben attenzione a non mollare il cordino lasciare che la molla ritragga autonomamente il cordino avvongendolo sulla ruota interna Ora far passare il capo libero del cordino attraverso la maniglia ed effettuare un nodo semplice ben stretto foto 14 Rimontare l avviatore sul motore riavvitando le 4 viti m5 con la necessaria forza vedi tabelle serraggi Verificare l usura dei grimaldelli ed eventualmente sostituirli svitando la vite centrale Dopo l eventuale sostituzione riavvitare la vite centrale utilizzando frena filetti medio ATTENZIONE Verificare che la molla di ritorno non raggiunga il fine corsa tirare tota

E Le moteur doit tre fix sur le ch ssis en utilisant les 4 logements pourvus de silentblock en les bloquant avec une cl dynamom trique 16 Nm Consulter le site www polinithor com ou www polini com gt thor gt domaine technique pour le dessin des mesures de connexion au chassis La boite du filtre est pourvu d un trou dans la partie haute qui doit tre utilis pour en viter la rotation du filtre pendant l usage Pour ca il faut positionner une petite bande ou un petit c ble non fournis en les fixant une zone adapt e du ch ssis ANATTENTION si le filtre n est pas fix il peut tourner entrer en collision avec l h lice et en causer la rupture Cela peut tre tr s dangereux pour la s curit 11 1 MOTEUR AVEC ALLUMAGE ELECTRIQUE Fixer bien la batterie en dotation livr e d j charg e nous conseillons de toute facon un cycle de charge Connecter le relais au chassis Connecter les deux c bles rouges au pole positif de la batterie le c ble noir au pole n gatif et le cable jaune vert un interrupteur NO Normalement Ouvert vers masse qui sert pour allu mer le moteur 11 2 ALIMENTATION CARBURANT Le ch ssis doit tre quip d un r servoir appropri et ventuellement d une poire d amor age pour faire arriver le carburant au carburateur Connecter la durite de l essence au raccord appropri sur le carburateur en le fixant avec un collier et en v rifiant que l air ne passe pas 11 3 ACC

38. ento Dopo il controllo riavviare il motore senza accelerare e senza l utilizzo dello starter A questo punto lasciar girare al minimo il motore dando delle leggere accelerate fino a portare il motore in temperatura 4 RODAGGIO Per ottimizzare l assestamento del motore e della trasmissione al primo funzionamento preservando cos da subito l affidabilit indispensabile un breve rodaggio Attenersi pertanto alle seguenti indicazioni una volta avviato il motore farlo girare al minimo dando delle leggere accelerate fino al raggiungimento della normale temperatura di esercizio Consigliamo 15 minuti di avviamento motore a medio bassa erogazione di potenza del motore dando delle accelerate leggere e di diversa intensit A questo punto consigliamo di verificare la corretta taratura del minimo Durante i primi voli o comunque per i primi 20 litri di carburante consigliamo di non tenere il motore al massimo dei giri per troppo tempo tenendo presente che il motore a 2 tempi mal sopporta i regimi di rotazione costanti anche se a media potenza Consigliamo dunque di cercare di variare il regime di rotazione del motore Dopo il primo atterraggio consigliamo di controllare la carburazione Ripetere il ciclo di rodaggio ogni volta che viene sostituito uno qualsiasi dei seguenti particolari pistone fasce elastiche cilindro albero motore o i cuscinetti di banco 5 SPEGNIMENTO DEL MOTORE Per spegnere il motore azionare l apposito pulsante fino a
39. et si a se passe il se cassera Remonter le d marreur sur le moteur en revissant les 4 vis M5 avec la force n cessaire voir tableaux serrages 9 5 REMPLACEMENT DE LA CORDE DE LANCEUR STANDARD Enlever le carter lanceur en d vissant les 4 vis photo 9 Enlever la corde Faire attention puisque la poulie centrale tournera jusqu la compl te d charge du ressort la tenir et la faire tourner lentement de fa on viter quelconque dommage et blessures Pr parer la nouvelle corde en faisant un n ud une extr mit Une fois enlev la vieille corde garder avec une main la partie ext rieure et faire tourner la partie int rieure dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d une montre de 5 tours Arr ter la rotation quand le trou de la roue se trouve en correspondance du trou sur la partie ext rieure photo 15 A ce point ci enfiler la cot qui n est pas nou de la nouvelle corde dans les deux trous en m me temps photo 15 et faire passer compl tement la corde jusqu au n ud Faisant attention ne pas laisser la corde laisser que le ressort tire de mani re autonome la corde et la enroule sur la roue int rieure Faire passer le cot libre de la corde travers la poign e et faire un n ud simple bien serr photo 14 Remonter le d marreur sur le moteur en revissant les 4 vis m5 avec la force n cessaire voir tableaux serrages V rifier l usure des crochets et si c est le cas les remplacer en d vissant la vis centr
