Output Adjustment Button once L I CD 28 Maintenance O ring Check The FIX NEO DX LIGHT is sealed using a double O ring seal design The two O rings are user serviceable for maintenance and replacement O CAUTION Be aware of the following points regarding handling O ring 1 Use the included O ring remover when removing the O ring of the body case and never use l sharp metal tools such as the edge of scissors nail or knife 1 Be careful not to lose the removed O ring 1 Lightly coat it with a thin film of the included O ring grease to prevent friction or deterioration of the O ring Make sure that there is no sand small lint or hair If there is any sand or lint on it i wash off first then grease it Be careful not to put too much O ring grease as it may attract 1 more lint or dust and cause water intrusion i Never use and immediately exchange with a spare O ring if there are any small cuts or cracks 1 on the O ring surface 1 Make sure that there is no sand small lint or hair on the O ring groove and the waterproof side that the O ring contacts It can be wiped clean with a cotton tipped swab etc Also make 1 sure that there are no scratches or cracks Once above points have been checked install the O ring back on the groove Make sure O ring is uniform with no twists or bulges Always perform checks of O ring or O ring groove and O ring grease up every time you open close the body Pre diving C

35. heck A leakage check is recommended before using the product with a battery installed Before use submerge the product by horizontally lowering in a tub or bowl filled with water Take the light out of the water at 3 second 30 second and 3 minute intervals opening the body case to make sure that there is no sign of water intrusion inside the body 90 After Use Care and Storage 1 Submerge the light body into fresh water for about 10 20 minutes before opening the light head after use Also press the Power Button Light Output Adjustment Button and Light Output Adjustment Button in fresh water several times and wash off the salt deposits around buttons Using salt damage inhibitor SALT AWAY included in the FIX maintenance kit sold separately is even more effective After use in salt water if salt deposits are allowed to remain and dry in small gaps salt CAUTION crystals will form and will not subsequently dissolve Make sure to submerge in fresh water to wash off the salt deposits as these salt crystals may occasionally push up the O ring and cause water intrusion 2 After removing from fresh water rinse with slow flowing running water Never use high pressure water from one direction as it may cause water intrusion 3 After rinsing wipe off remaining water with a soft dry cloth Do not dry in direct sunlight or dry with a dryer or stove as it may cause failure deformation or damage 4 After use lightly coat the O ring
