2. but also a DMX signal representing the same pattern that currently plays but shifted by several pattern steps on channels 004 006 A connected slave unit can be either set to synchronous slave mode setting S in menu SLAVE then using the channels 001 003 or asynchronous slave mode setting A in menu SLAVE then using the channels 004 006 As the control signal for the slave is generated in the master unit the settings for the offset of a connected slave in asynchronous slave mode setting A in menu SLAVE must be made in the master unit The number of pattern steps amount of shift can be selected in the Output menu The output menu is accessible by pressing the MODE 1 and DOWN 3 button at the same time until the display shows OPx indicating operation in OP Output mode with x being a number from 1 through to 4 the display can hence show the values OP1 OP2 OP3 and OP4 The number x represents the number of pattern steps by which the slave signal generated on DMX channel 004 006 is shifted against the synchronous slave signal The setting can be adjusted using the UP DOWN buttons 2 3 If no further settings are made in between 3 seconds the unit will automatically return to the menu shown before switching into OPx output mode For master slave operation also see the below example E Master Slave 1 Slave 2 Slave 3 Mode A Auto or S2L
