1. Washing Dishes Programme selection The most appropriate programme can be identified by comparing the type of crockery cutlery etc as well as the amount and condition of food remains with the details contained in Table 2 2 the wash cycle table The corresponding programme sequence duration and consumption details are shown in the right half of the table Example Use the normal programme for dishes and utensils that are heavily soiled Earn savings If only a small number of dishes have been loaded into the dishwasher selecting a programme that operates at the next lowest temperature will usually be sufficient Programme data The stated programme data are based on standard operating conditions The values can vary considerably according to Different amounts of dishes Temperature of mains water supply Pressure of mains water supply Ambient temperature Fluctuations in mains voltage Machine related factors e g temperature water volume Switching the dishwasher ON 1 Turnonthetap 2 Open the door 3 Set ON OFF button to ON Fig 2 14 Setting and starting a programme Press the programme button Fig 2 15 the programme indicator illuminates and the time remaining indicator displays the time of the programme Fig 2 16 End of programme Six beeps will indicate that the wash cycle has finished and the programme indicator light and time remaining indicator will turn off Sw2. NEUTRAL Brown LIVE A Caution The dishwasher plug must be accessible even when the appliance is installed as a built in unit so that maintenance can be carried out safely Care for the external cable Hold the plug not the electrical cable when unplugging the dishwasher Make sure that the dishwasher does not trap the electric cable Do not step on the cable Avoid damage to the electric cable when moving the dishwasher Damaged electrical cable If the electrical cable is damaged or worn switch off the dishwasher and consult an authorized agent for replacement Levelling the Dishwasher When the unit is in position adjust the feet to level the dishwasher In any circumstance the dishwasher should not be inclined more than 2 otherwise the performance may be affected 16 The adjustable feet allow the dishwasher to be raised up to 870 mm If the space between the floor and the underside of the work surface is more than 870 mm the unit should be positioned on suitable wooded spacers that should be fixed to the floor Fig 5 5 Always use a spirit level to make sure that the appliance islevelleft to right and front to back If the appliance is installed on carpet ensure that there is clearance beneath the appliance Adjust the feet to raise and level the dishwasher to the correct height Fig 5 6 Using the tool supplied adjust the rear feet via the studs A at the front of the appli

RDW6015FI Dishwasher User Guide Installation amp Service Instructions RANGEmMaster U109981 02 Contents Before You Start 2 Overview and Operation 2 3 Looking after your Dishwasher 11 4 Troubleshooting 13 5 Installation 15 6 General Information 19 7 Circuit Diagram 20 8 Technical Data 21 1 Before You Start At Time of Delivery Check packaging and dishwasher immediately for signs of transport damage If the appliance is damaged DO NOT USE Contact your supplier or customer services Please dispose of packaging materials properly During Installation Site the dishwasher and connect in accordance with the installation instructions e The dishwasher must not be connected to the electricity supply while installation is being carried out Ensure that the wiring is properly earthed e Themains electricity supply must conform to the details shown on the dishwasher nameplate Do not connect the dishwasher to the electricity supply with an extension cable Built under and built in appliances should always be installed under a continuous work surface attached to adjacent cupboards This will ensure that the appliance is stable After the appliance has been installed the mains plug should be easily accessible During installation the power supply cord must not be excessively bent or flattened During Normal Use e Thedishwasher

TANT Proper dosage of rinse aid improves drying If drops of water remain on the dishes or spotting occurs the dosage adjuster should be turned to a higher setting If the dishes have white streaks turn the adjuster to a lower setting Detergent Detergent specifically intended for use with dishwashers must be used The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions provided in the Programme overview The detergent dispenser is located on the inside panel of the door Loading the detergent To load the detergent 1 Open the cover on the dispenser by pressing the button Fig 2 8 2 Pour the detergent for the wash cycle into compartment A Fig 2 9 3 Pour the detergent for the prewash cycle into compartment B Fig 2 9 4 After the detergent has been placed in the dispenser close the cover and press down until it clicks in place Note To allow the cover to close properly remove any excess detergent from the edges of the dispenser A DO NOT use 3 in 1 or similar tablets when Heat Wash Rapid Wash and Soak programmes are selected Detergent tablets explained Classic Tabs The tab contains Stain Soakers which dissolve instantly to soften really dried on food residues such as baked on egg and cheese sauces The blue layer then works to break down and lift off food remains while the white layer cleans all traces of dirt away for a spotless and brilliant fin
10. ance Adjust the front feet B using the spanner provided To prevent damage to the floor surface install the appliance on the plastic skids supplied Fitting the Decor Door Fixing the door panel fittings Place the template supplied on the back face of the door panel Align the top of the template as identified by the A arrow with the top of the door and align the side of the template with the left hand edge of the door Fig 5 7 Using a pencil or bradawl mark the positions of the holes closest the door panel edge Repeat this step for the right hand side of the door panel using the other side of the template Align a mounting bracket with the two marks on the lower left hand part of the panel Mark the remaining hole in the top of the bracket Fig 5 8 and then remove Repeat for the other side At the points marked carefully drill 2mm holes to a maximum depth of 10mm Take care not to drill through to the front face of the door panel Position the two brackets on the panel with the tab facing downwards Using the screws supplied fix the brackets to the panel Secure the two plastic hooks to the holes at the top of the panel Fig 5 9 Mounting the door panel to the dishwasher Insert the top plastic hooks into the slots on the dishwasher front A Carefully slide the panel up the channels until it stops Slide the panel downwards B moving the bottom of the panel door so that the bracket tabs
11. ator Fig 3 2 on the front panel Top up with rinse aid if required Filters The filters prevent larger particles of food in the water from reaching the pump These particles may occasionally block the filters When the appliance has finished washing check the filters for particles of food and if required clean After undoing the coarse micro filter Fig 3 3 the filter unit can be removed Fig 3 4 Remove any particles of food and rinse the filters under running water Insert the filter unit and tighten the coarse micro filter 11 Spray arms Limescale and remnants of food in the washing water can blockthe nozzles in the spray arms and the arm mountings Inspect the nozzles in the spray arms for blocked holes due to remnants of food If necessary pull the lower arm Fig 3 5 upwards andllift it off Unscrew the upper spray arm Fig 3 6 Clean both spray arms under running water A Refit the spray arms Ensure that the lower arm has locked into place and the upper one is screwed tight Solvents or Abrasive Cleaning Products To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products Rather use only a cloth and warm soapy water To remove spots or stains from the surface of the interior use a cloth dampened with water and alittle white vinegar or a cleaning product made specifically for dishwashers Moving the Appliance If the app

16. itching the dishwasher OFF Several minutes after the programme has ended 1 Open the door 2 Set the ON OFF button to OFF 3 Remove dishes etc when they have cooled down 4 Turn the water tap off Interrupting the programme Note Interrupt or cancel a programme in progress ONLY when absolutely necessary Interrupting a programme in progress Caution There is a risk of water coming out from inside the appliance DO NOT open the door fully until the spray arm has stopped rotating Open the door When you open the door the dishwasher will beep ten times every thirty seconds If the appliance has already heated up or the hot water was switched ON and then the appliance door opened leave the door ajar for several minutes and then close otherwise the door may open due to expansion Close the door After 30 seconds the programme will start from the point it was interrupted Cancelling a programme in progress Open the door The dishwasher will beep and the programme indicator will blink with the time remaining indicator displaying E1 Press the programme button and hold it in for about 3 seconds the dishwasher will emit one short warning sound The drain phase will start and the programme indicator light will flash indicating that the running programme has been cancelled Delayed start programming You can delay the start of a programme from 1 hour up to 24 hours 1 Switch the dishwasher ON 2 Press p

21. re removed from dishwasher too soon Glasses have a dull appearance Amount of rinse aid set too low Tea stains or traces of lipstick have not been completely removed Detergent does not have a sufficient bleaching effect Washing temperature set too low Traces of rust on cutlery Cutlery is not rustproof Salt content in washing water is too high Lid on salt container not screwed tight e Salt spilt while filling container Glasses become clouded and discoloured coating cannot be wiped off Unsuitable detergent was used Glasses are not dishwasher proof Smears left behind on glasses and cutlery glasses have acquired a metallic appearance Amount of rinse aid set too high 5 Installation Positioning the Dishwasher The dishwasher should be aligned to the front of the adjacent cabinets with allowance made for the door thickness The dishwasher has water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned on either to the left or the right Before installing the dishwasher into a kitchen cabinet holes must not be drilled into the sides or door to avoid compromising the performance and operation of the appliance A plastic self adhesive anti condensation strip is supplied with the dishwasher Fix the strip to the underside of the worktop along the front edge Fig 5 1 Connect up the cold water supply the drain hose and the electrical connections see below then slide the dishwasher in
22. rogramme button to choose the desired programme 3 Immediately press the Delayed Start button Fig 2 17 the delayed start indicator illuminates the time remaining indicator Fig 2 18 changes to 1 4 Press the Delayed Start button as many times as necessary until the numerical display shows the required delay 5 To cancel the time delay setting pressing the Delayed Start button until the delayed start indicator and time remaining indicator go out 6 Close the door the time remaining indicator will blink and start to count down The programme will start when the delayed start indicator goes out and the wash cycle will begin To cancel a delayed start programme in progress follow the Cancelling a programme in progress instructions Fig 2 20 2 Load Button This function allows the dishwasher to wash dishes using only the upper rack if there are not enough dishes for a full load This will allow you to save on water and energy consumption To select load 1 Select the programme and then press the load button Fig 2 19 the load indicator blinks 2 Close the door The programme starts automatically To cancel the 12 load Follow the Cancelling a programme in progress instructions Note Please keep in mind that the amount of detergent should also be adapted to the load 3 in 1 Function When using 3 in 1 dishwasher tablets the rinse aid and salt functions are no longer
