4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Dakota Di ita ie 1969 Camaro MAN 6501 70 Kit Includes eevee T Hyg TER ee a rre T tew Cee ee eee ee ALALLE i TT E e eeee k ae eeeeeeaes Installation 1 Remove the original bulb connectors from the bottom side of the housing 2 Remove the plastic housing from the vehicle 3 Remove the tail light lens by gently prying the housing away from the lens tabs 4 Now is a good time to clean the lens and housing If lenses are in bad shape a new Set is recommended 5 Note that the screws and mounting plates are assembled differently for the driver side set and passenger side set The LED assemblies will sit in the housing at an angle similar to the back side of the original lens passenger side screws and mounting plate offset to the right MAN 6501 70 Insert each new LED assembly through the hole where the original bulb and connector were located Use caution when feeding the wires through the socket opening to avoid damaging the wire insulation Feed the wires through the large hole in the back plate and attach the back plate onto the back side of the housing The flat side of the a mounting plate should be toward the outside and the side with the Ap slight raised center should go in towards the housing This will align A the mount in the original housing Secure the LED assembly into the housing with the supplied back plate and 6 lock nuts MAN 6501 70 10 C
