7. lity As you rotate the control clockwise the amount of distortion increases Crate s exclusive Flex Wave circuitry uses sequential cascading gains to deliver distortion which is rich in harmonics and touch sensitive Use this control along with the Level 3 to create a wide variety of sounds 3 LEVEL Use this control to adjust the output volume level from the Overdrive channel With the control fully counter clockwise there will be no output As you rotate the control clockwise the output increases Use this control along with the Gain control 2 to create a wide variety of sounds 4 OVERDRIVE SELECT This switch when depressed activates the Overdrive channel With this switch in the out position the Clean channel is activated CLEAN CHANNEL A normal gain channel designed to give you crystal clear sounds to medium distortion 5 LEVEL Use this control to asjust the output volume level from the Clean channel with this control fully counter clockwise there will be no output As you rotate this control clockwise the output level increases For the best results reduce the Low control 6 when this con trol is near the fully clockwise position EQUALIZATION 6 LOW Use this control to adjust the low frequency output level Rotating this control counter clockwise reduces the low frequency output rotating it clockwise increases the low frequency output The Low control allows a total range of 25dB of boost or cut
8. ng as common sense is used and steps are taken to help avoid certain problems Abiding by the following rules can help prevent damage to your amplifier yourself and others e The amplifier is equipped with a three pronged AC power cord To reduce the risk of electrical shock NEVER remove or otherwise attempt to defeat the ground pin of the power cord e Connect the amplifier ONLY to a properly grounded AC outlet of the proper volt age for your amp e Avoid sudden temperature extremes rain and moisture Also avoid sudden and intense impact If the unit has been subjected to any of the preceding abuses have it looked at by an authorized service center e NEVER set the amplifier on a support that might give out under its weight e Always keep the total soeaker impedance at or above the rated load e Unplug the amplifier before cleaning it NEVER spray liquid cleaners onto the amplifier Wipe it with a slightly dampened lint free cloth to remove dirt and film e Do not use the amplifier if it has sustained damage to the chassis controls or power cord Refer the unit to an authorized service center for inspection e Amplifiers capable of producing high volume levels are also capable of inflicting permanent hearing loss or damage if the exposure to such levels is prolonged Such damage is progressive and irreversible Consider using quality hearing protection devices CAUTION PRECAUCION ATTENTION T RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
