Eis Transmitter System Function Button Unlock Doors Two Steps Door Unlock amp Press twice within 3 Disarm System seconds Remark Trunk Release Channel 3 Press and Hold for 2 Only available with the 4 button seconds remote Push twice to start Stop remote start operation Push Twice to stop engine 9 0 9 0 Activate The Remote Start The units default is safety start This requires the user to push the start button twice to remote start the vehicle and prevent accidental starts The unit can be programmed to start on one push of the start button Programming required BATTERY CHANGING Depending on the usage the remote batteries should be changed at least once a year The 1 way remote E1s and E1 2s are powered by a pair of 3V CR2016 batteries These batteries are available at most locations batteries are sold and can be replaced by the user P ILID E PARKING LIGHT CHIRP INDICATORS a Antenna Located LED Locked Slow Flash On Solid Valet Mode WARNINGS As with any product that performs automatic functions there are certain safety precautions that you must practice and be aware of e Keep the transmitter out of children s reach Do not leave anyone in the vehicle while running on remote control Alert servicing personnel that the vehicle can be started automatically Always apply the parking brake and lock the vehicle as you exit the vehicle The vehicle windo2. 1 Return to normal operation turn ignition on 2 Press and hold valet switch for 2 seconds The LED will turn off Indicating that the system has exited the valet mode IGNITION CONTROL DOOR LOCKS If the vehicle s door locks have been interfaced to the security system the system will automatically lock the vehicle s doors when the ignition is turned ON and or unlock the vehicle s doors when the ignition is turned OFF TRUNK RELEASE Additional Installation Required 4 button remote only Press and hold the P button on transmitter for 3 seconds to activate the trunk release or other electric devices E1 2s Ultra Miniature 2 button Remote This remote can be used in applications where the factory Keyless entry system is the main source for locking and unlocking the vehicle For example vehicles with the factory smart key push button start or one piece remote with key an E1 2s Ultra Miniature remote may be used for remote start and unlock only applications This ultra small remote may be preferred if your factory remote is integrated within your key Both the 4 button remote as well as the 2 button remote can be purchased if either is preferred

TO REMOTE START THE VEHICLE When you want to start your vehicle e Press O button Twice on the transmitter e The parking light will activate to indicate the remote start received the signal e The engine will start in approximately 5 seconds e Once the engine is running after couple seconds the parking lights will turn on and the climate controls will activate and adjust the vehicle s interior temperature to your preset setting e The vehicle will run for a programmable 5 to 30 minute cycle before shutting down NOTE The Remote Start Unit will not start the vehicle if any one of the following conditions exists 1 The hood is opened 2 The brake pedal is pressed 3 The optional remote start enable toggle is switched to the OFF position lf installed 4 The gear selector is in any gear other then PARK or NEUTRAL SAFE START Child safety mode Factory default is set to press the CD button Twice on the transmitter to start the vehicle This feature to eliminate an accidental remote start 1 The user presses the transmitter Q buttons twice within 3 seconds to start the vehicle NOTE Contact your installing dealer to de activate this feature for one push start OPERATE THE VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING FROM THE REMOTE START To operate the vehicle while the engine is running from the remote start e Insert the ignition key and turn it to ON not the start position e Press the brake pedal Note If t

5. he brake pedal is pressed before the key is in the ON position the engine will shut down TEMPORARY STOP FEATURE This feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been removed from the ignition This feature is useful for occasions when you wish to exit and lock the vehicle for short periods of time but would like to leave the motor running and the climate control on e Before turning off the engine press the Q button twice on the transmitter and the LED indicator will flash 3 times to confirm enter e Turn the ignition key to OFF position The engine will stay running e The engine will run until the pre programmed time elapsed or shutdown input is received Remote Start Operation TO TURN OFF THE REMOTE START When the engine is running by remote start if you want to stop it Press N button twice on the remote transmitter under the remote start mode Press this button once if the unit is programmed for one push start Press the brake pedal The vehicle will shut down and turn off the parking light to indicate the engine has stopped SHUT DOWN INPUT FOR REMOTE STARTER If any of the following conditions exist while the system is operating the engine will not start or will shut down immediately 1 The hood is opened 2 The brake pedal is pressed 3 The parking hand brake is released For Turbo Timer Mode 4 Engine is over revved Tachometer checking type only 5 The pre programm

7. omerservice encoreautomotivesystems com Do not start the vehicle by remote while it s in an enclosed area or garage THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION ONLY ACTIVE LOCK 1 Press fai button on the transmitter 2 The horn if installed will chirp once and parking lights will flash once indicating that the system is now active The vehicle doors will lock upon activating when interfaced with the keyless entry system ACTIVE UNLOCK 1 Press ml button on the transmitter 2 The horn will chirp twice and parking light will flash twice to indicating that the keyless system is now unlocked The vehicle doors will unlock DEACTIVATING WITHOUT A TRANSMITTER The Override function may be used if the remote transmitter is lost or inoperative 1 Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to ON position 2 Within 10 seconds push and release the valet switch VALET MODE The Valet switch is located in the windschield mounted antenna The valet switch allows you to temporarily by pass all system function eliminating the need to hand your transmitter to parking attendants or garage mechanics When the system is in valet mode and remote start functions are bypassed Enter Valet Mode 1 Under Unlock condition turn the ignition to ON position 2 Press and hold valet switch for 2 seconds until the LED turns on The LED will remain on as long as the system is in valet mode Exit Valet Mode
