13. tivated Connecting to a Computer VGA Notice e Many laptops do not activate the external 1 video output automatically when you connect a second display such as a projector Check your laptop s manual to find out how to acti vate the external video output Use the VGA Audio cable available as an accessory to connect the projector to a computer laptop etc The projector supports the following resolutions VGA SVGA XGA WXGA For best results set the com puter s resolution to WXGA 1 Connect the VGA Audio cable to the projector s mini HDMI socket 2 Connect the VGA plug to the computer s VGA socket Do not connect audio plug the function is not supported with the PPX4010 3 Switch the projector on by connecting it to the power supply with the dual USB to Micro USB cable 4 After the initial screen the connection is automati cally activated 5 Adjust the computer s resolution to the correct set ting and switch the VGA signal to an external moni tor The following resolutions are supported Resolution Image refresh rate VGA 640 x 480 60 Hz SVGA 800 x 600 60 Hz XGA 1024 x 768 60 Hz WXGA 1280 x 768 60 Hz Notice a Screen Resolution You can obtain the best results with the WXGA resolution Connect to the playback device Connecting to an iPhone iPad Use the Apple Digital AV Adapter sold separately r I AC 10
