7. ble and control card www leadingtouch com 6 22 Leading Jt AS She RRA IRA A ouc LeadingTouch Technology Co Ltd Install touch screen in LCD monitor Disassemble LCD monitor Before you install touch screen in your LCD monitor you have to disassemble monitor Open the front and rear cover of the monitor by turning the screws on the rear cover the switch circuit board and the LCD panel The positions of the parts of the monitor are showed as below drawing Rear Front LCD PANEL rear side Pedestal Switch Circuit Board of LCD panel Commonly some reinforces are made inside the front cover If they hinder the touch screen from putting in or damage the reflective strips or connecting wires on the side of the touch screen You should cut them away with pliers After cutting be sure to make the cut smooth by abrading because the sharp cut may damage the connecting wires on the side of the touch screen If the space permits the cut can be bonded with adhesive foam tape Stick dust proof strips inside the front cover of the monitor Two purposes to stick dust proof strips To prevent dust go inside monitor To avoid direct connection between bezel and touch screen panel which may cause wrong action Due to the different coefficient of expansion the PET ITO film overlay on touch screen may be distorted Therefore it is important to put the gasket inside touch screen silver line area without covering the viewing area LCD view area S
