1. 1 Handling of Batteries 1 1 Do Not Short Circuit the Battery Try to never short circuit the battery It generates a very high current which could cause the battery to overheat which may result in elec trolyte gel leakage harmful fumes or explosion The LIR tabs may easily short circuit by placing them on conductive surface A short cir cuit may lead to heat build up and damage of the battery An appro priate circuitry with PCM is employed to protect accidental short circuit of the battery pack 1 2 Mechanical shock Droping the unit impact hit bending etc may cause failure or short end life of the LIR battery 2 Other 2 1 Battery connection 1 Direct soldering of wire leads or devices to the battery is strictly prohibited 2 Lead tabs with pre soldered wiring shall be spot welded to the batteries Direct soldering may cause damage of components such as separator and insulator by heat build up 2 2 Prevention of short circuit within a battery pack There is enough insulation layers between wiring and the batteries to provide extra safety protection The battery pack is constructed in a way that no short circuit will occur which may cause smoke or fire 2 3 Do No Disassemble the Batteries 1 Never disassemble the batteries Doing this may cause a internal short circuit in the battery which may lead to harmful fumes fire explosion or other problems 2 Electrolyte Gel is harmful Electrolyte Gel should not lea2. 3. button for 5 sec onds to switch between normal mode and energy saving mode When the white LED flashes 3 times the PinPoint GO is in normal mode When the white LED flashes for 5 seconds the PinPoint GO is in ener gy saving mode Low Battery Warning When the battery power gets below 30 the LED will flash rapidly for 5 seconds each time the power is switched ON After the 5 seconds the unit will function normally This is a warning letting you know that you must charge the unit soon Battery Recharge To recharge the battery plug the supplied DC power supply into the DC input located on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a matching power supply It takes about 4 5 hours to reach full charge with the power switch off Operating Power There are two ways to supply power to this unit battery power or DC power DC Power To run the unit using DC power plug the unit into a DC power source and put the POWER switch into the ON position Battery Power To run the unit using Battery power put the POWER switch in the ON position Mode Button Lock The MODE button will lock itself after 30 seconds if nothing is ADJ Products LLC www adj com PinPoint GO User Manual Page 7 PinPoint GO Operating Instructions pressed To unlock the unit press the MODE button for 3 sec onds Mode Operation Each press of the MODE button will cycle through the different oper ating modes The operating modes are listed

9. ctivate CW color Use the amp buttons to adjust the output intensity Press the FLASH button to activate strobing and use the amp buttons to adjust the strobe speed ADJ Products LLC www adj com PinPoint GO User Manual Page 8 PinPoint GO The PinPoint GO comes with 4 color filters and 1 frost filter To install one of the filters carefully remove the retainer ring in front of the lens Install the filter and replace the retainer ring Make sure the filter cut out for the infrared receiver is in the correct place PinPoint GO The unit has two ways that it can be installed The unit includes a X Clip so that it can be installed on drop down ceilings Always ensure that the unit is firmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipping while operating Always ensure that the structure to which you are attach ing the unit is secure and is able to support a weight of 10 times the unit s weight Always use a safety cable that can hold 12 times the weight of the unit when doing this type of installation The safety cable should go through the eye hole nut that holds the X Clip base in place Color Filter Install Installation You can also install using the magantic base To do this remove the X Clip base by unscrewing the eye hole bolt Once removed the fix ture can be stuck to anything magnetic The equipment must be installed by a professional and it must be installed in a place where it is out of the re

12. oes not fall below the 30 mark 4 Other Chemical Reaction Because batteries utilize a chemical reaction battery performance will deteriorate over time even if stored for a long period of time without being used In addition if the various usage conditions such as charge discharge ambient temperature etc are not maintained within the specified ranges the life expectancy of the battery maybe shortened or the device in which the battery is used may be damaged by electrolyte gel leakage If the batteries cannot maintain a charge for long periods of time even when they are charged correctly this may indicate it is time to change the battery 5 Battery Disposal Please dispose of battery according to local regulations ADJ Products LLC www adj com PinPoint GO User Manual Page 6 PinPoint GO Operating Instructions Energy Saving Mode There are 2 ways you can set the PinPoint GO into energy saving mode When the PinPoint GO is set into energy saving mode it will decrease the LED brightness gradually when the battery life is less than 80 to extend the battery life NOTE When the unit is using DC power the energy saving mode cannot be used 1 Press the MODE button for 5 seconds to switch between normal mode and energy saving mode When the white LED flashes 3 times the PinPoint GO is in normal mode When the white LED flashes for 5 seconds the PinPoint GO is in energy saving mode 2 Using the ADJ LED RC3 press the BLACKOUT
