The wooden cover is placed onto the existing bed end the two distance pieces placed inside the bed ends and fastened with the four enclosed furniture screws Fitting the Rastofix bracket Rastofix bracket can be fittet between leg section and top frame in the foot end by using the supplied two pipe pins 16 ACP box optional with HB 73 hand control All electrical functions of the bed can be blocked by switching the button on the ACP box to blocked After having locked the bed functions you must test if the blocking is effective by using the hand control The ACP box is located under the mattress support only IEC 60601 2 38 approved beds The ACP box is mounted to the left but it is also possible to mount the ACP box to the right Mount only approved accessories on the Etude bed Open Blocked Removal of safety lock Replacement of hand control fitted to the ACP Box By pressing inwards with an finger nail or a little screwdriver on the white nose on the safety lock the lock can be loosened and the hand control cable can be removed Battery for emergency lowering An emergency lowering battery can be fitted onto 4 sectioned beds A LED lamp on the battery indicates that charging can take place Please be aware that the emergency lowering battery can only be attached to the leg motor on 4 sectioned beds Preventive battery maintenance The accumulator has to be exchanged after 4 years Depending on how the battery i
