4. arranty applies only if original spare parts and accessories are used and always provided that adjustments are carried out by authorised service technicians The warranty does not cover accidental damage including damage caused by misuse or neglect The warranty does not extend to non durable parts which are subject to normal wear and tear and need periodic replacement VELA assumes no liability for damage to the product or injury to the user as a result of e Transport e Misuse e Ordinary wear and tear e Incorrect use e Using non original spare parts and accessories e Adjustments carried out by unauthorised service technicians VELA reserves the right to inspect the product being claimed for and the relevant documentation before agreeing to the warranty claim and to decide upon whether to replace or repair the defec tive product It is the customer s responsibility to return the item being claimed for under warranty to the address of purchase The warranty is given by VELA or subsequently an VELA dealer REPAIR If there is a fault on your chair you should contact your dealer at once Defective chairs should not be used If your chair needs reconditioning or repair only original VELA parts must be used Accessories or available spare parts which are broken can be forwarded to VELA for repair If fault in the fundamental parts the whole chair need to be returned to VELA for repair VELA will not be held responsible for damage or injur

6. y caused by use of non original parts or repairs made by a non authorized VELA person 1 3 UNPACKING THE CHAIR VELA Latin is supplied in cardboard packaging which 15 developed and produced to ensure the least possible impact on the environment and with focus on ease of use In case of defects or transport damage to the chair please contact VELA immediately You must not try to repair any damage yourself or start using the chair The box in which the chair was supplied should contain VELA Latin fitted with any additional accessories This user manual 1 4 MAINTENANCE OF VELA LATIN We recommend that you have your VELA Latin serviced once a year to identify any defective or worn parts However removable parts should be regularly checked and tightened When adjustments have been made then make sure to tighten up It is important to fasten all screws on the chair on a regular basis All screws which secure the accessories have to be checked at least 4 once a month Further is important to be aware of any indications of beginning faults on the frame PVC parts and the like The gasspring functions without any maintenance Do not expose the gasspring to pressure high temperatures or perforation After several years of use the chair can feel a bit stiff when adjusting the seat height and the springs so it is a good idea to lubricate the inner tube with acid free oil so it again functions optimally Wheels Wheels should be reg
