C with a mild soap l 225 Usea soft lint free cloth 3 Rinse the filters thoroughly and let them dry completely in an area out of direct sunlight 4 Push the air filters back into their original positions End of season z CON XH Switch off the unit and disconnect the plug from the power supply Pull the plug from the drain mouth and remove the water from the basin You can remove the water entirely by carefully tilting the unit back Clean the air filters Let them dry completely before inserting them back in the ArcticPro Run the unit in Fan Mode on the low setting for half a day to dry the inside and prevent mildew Wrap the cord around the cord storage on the back of the unit Remove the air exhaust duct and store it in a dry and safe place Wrap the unit with a plastic bag and keep with all accessories in a dry place Take the batteries out of the remote control before storage 15 WATER DRAINAGE This product has a self evaporative system The condensing water will recycle to cool the condenser This water cooled mode not only can improve cooling efficiency and decrease noise but also save energy In Cool and Dehumidifying Modes water from the evaporator flows into an inside basin When the water reaches above a set level the pump will run until the water is under that level When the basin reaches its max capacity the compressor will stop working however the water pump lower

8. certain types of windows Please refer to the illustrations To prepare your window for installation take the thin strips of self stick foam and peel off the adhesive liner on one side only Apply them around the window sill where the window slider will be placed Next peel off the remaining adhesive liner and apply the thick foam to this i ni Fit the window slider adapter securely within the window sliding it open until it completely fills the width of the window OPTIONAL you may also use the included screw to secure the slider to the window Close the window firmly Attach the window exhaust adapter to the end of the exhaust hose then snap it into the slider 9 MOUNTING ILLUSTRATIONS OPERATION Wall Mounting Timer Sleep Setting Sleep setting To automatically turn the unit OFF after a chosen length of time 1 Press the Timer button when the unit is on 2 The LED i i will flash five times Press the up or down button during this iin time or it will go back to displaying the temperature 3 Select the length of time you would like the air conditioner to run anywhere between 0 5h to 24h The time increases in half hour increments up to three hours and in 1 hour increments thereafter Once the time is set the number display will flash 5 times and then show the temperature again The Timer symbol O will stay lit indicating that the timer is set Once the selected amount of time ends the uni

14. o make it stop Adjust the horizontal vent by hand 6 OPTIONAL ENERGY SAVING COOL MODE This unit also has an Economy Mode to help save energy This is only available in Cool Mode To select this mode press the economy mode button on the unit or the remote The Cool Mode indicator will blink to show that the unit is running in Economy Mode The temperature will automatically switch to 81 F and a low fan speed These settings can not be changed To cancel this mode press the Economy Mode button again OPERATION CONTINUED on page 13 IR Exhaust Duct Mounting Method 1 Attach the square end of the exhaust duct to the exhaust terminal of the unit 2 Attach the other end outflow to the nearest window Leave at least 1 7 ft of space around the unit Z N ATTENTION This length has been designed according to the specifications of the air conditioner Do not use an extension or exchange of a different hose as that may lead to a malfunction Placement Place the unit in a flat dry place Leave at least 1 ft of space around the unit when the hose is not connected Energy tip The length of the air exhaust duct can expand up to 5ft but the shorter the exhaust duct is kept the more efficiently the unit will work Window Kit Installation The window kit is designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal windows However it may be necessary to modify some aspects of the installation procedures for
15. r reserves the right to make technical changes without notice If there is an abnormal smell or sound stop usage immediately and unplug the power cord TROUBLE SHOOTING Cont The remote e Use the remote control near the unit and make sure it is control is aimed at it malfunctioning Try different batteries in the remote control e Make sure the sensor on the remote and the sensor on the unit are clean and free of dirt The LCDI Plug e Examine the cord for damage If the power cord is trips by itself damaged immediately unplug the unit and call Customer Service If there is no damage to the cord press the reset button on the plug Your breaker Examine the cord for damage If the power cord switch trips is damaged immediately unplug the unit and call repeatedly with Customer Service product use e If there is no damage to the cord run the plug test as indicated on page 8 of this manual e If there is no damage to the cord try running the unit in a different outlet that is also on a different breaker switch in your home If this works wiring to the original outlet may be bad call a certified electrician for repair Error Codes Code Meaning E2 The sensor that detects the room temperature is malfunctioning and needs replaced Call Customer Service E3 The sensor that detects the coil temperature is malfunctioning and needs replaced Call Customer Service EA The evaporator reached a temperature below 0 C
16. t will turn off automatically Set Timer To automatically turn the unit ON after a chosen length of time 1 First make sure the unit is set to the desired mode To do this press the power button 0 to turn the unit on press the Mode button 654 to set the desired mode set the desired fan speed if available Cg available in Cool mode or Fan mode then press the Power button again to turn the unit off 2 While the unit is off press the Timer button Follow steps 2 3 as indicated above under Sleep Setting Once the chosen amount of time ends the unit will turn on automatically Adjust Cancel the Timer or Sleep Setting When Timer is on indicated by the illuminated timer symbol O you can check the remaining amount of time by pressing the Timer button It will flash 5 times Press Up or Down button to adjust set time The set time can also be cancelled if you press the Timer button once again while the time is flashing OPERATION CONTINUED on page 12
