Record on your DVBS2 Digital Video Recorder using an external HDD via USB The allows you to record 3 channels simultaneously whil e watching a 4th or a previously recorded program via one transponder There are 4 ways to record TV programs on your DVBS2 You can expand the storage capacity of your DVBS2 by connecting an external HDD via the front or rear USB ports e Before connecting the external HDD you will need to format the drive Instructions on how to do this can be found on our website www ismart com au in the FAQ section To record to the external HDD you will need to select it in the Menu Presse button and using thay and amp arrow buttons select Media Manager by pressing o button This will display the Media Manager Menu Using and arrow buttons select Disk Manager and press Qe button This will display the Disk Manager Menu The first item in the list is Default Disk To set the default disk to your external HDD press the or B arrow buttons until USBO is displayed This corresponds you external HDD Once you have selected USBO press o button you will be prompted to save the changes made Select Yes qrrow button and press the button The default disk is now set to the external HDD You can now perform all the recording options listed above using the external HDD To set the default HDD back to the internal drive simply remove the external HDD e Should you wish to have the external
