1. 2 1 Settings and Operate Steps 1 Select Backup Camera Select a camera window to backup from the drop down list If you want to do the same settings to all cameras windows you can press button 2 Select Record Type for Backup select one type of record data to backup by clicking the icon before the record type Camerat All Camera EE TA Tues wed i Tr Faal a m oa El a EL M As shown in the above picture from 10 00AM to 11 00AM only sensor record data will be backed up from 13 00PM to 14 00PM only motion record data will be backed up from 16 00PM to 17 00PM only manual record data will be backed up and from 19 00PM to 20 00PM no data will be backed up everyday in this week When there is no motion record data from 13 00PM to 14 00PM no data will be backed up If you don t want to miss any record data you can press ae before All Record to backup all types of record data 3 Backup POS and ACU Data Check Backup POS and ACU Data to backup POS and ACU data Note If you want to set the same backup schedule to all cameras select All Cameras beside Copy Record Plan to and then press Copy button r ag D button after all the settings as the above Dont forget to press three are done 4 Select Start Time for Backup l Thursday 20 Select the begin time for current backup from the drop down list2. 5 Select Backup Disk Check the box bofore C D etc to select the disks you want to save your backup data to And then select a disk from the drop down list below Current Disk to be the first backup disk When there is less than 500M left in this disk the next one will be used to save backup data automatically Press Save button to confirm the fourth and fifth items Note lf you select only one disk to save the backup data when it is less than 500M left the backup will stop and there will be an alarm message in Alarm Information 1 2 2 Begin Backup Current backup will stop at the time three hours earlier than current time will turn When current backup is in the process the button Begin Back to Six hours later when the program detects the time is changed auto back will continue again 1 3 Alarm Information There will be an alarm message to tell you Please Change Backup Disk when less than 500M is left in your backup disks 1 4 Minimize and Exit The buttons i and P Exit is for you to minimize or exit the program to Windows If you want to back to the program after it is minimized you can double click the icon on the task bar or run BackUPDVR exe again Run it again will not cause errors There is only one BackKUPDVR exe in the task manager

4. pe The other two types can t be selected This type of backup data can only be played by our player named player exe When there is POS data in the backup data it will be played in a detached window as below Video Player window Pl VOOR 0 1 Backup Camera01 01 20100524 150940 2010052415 1038 mp4 B DA _Backup_ gt Camera0l 01 20100524150940 21 Show TXT gt Il a pS 2 AVI H 264 If AVI H 264 is selected before backup then backup data can be played by TV and DVD etc without plugins 3 MSMPG4 If MSMPG4 is selected before backup then backup data can be played by windows media player without plugins Note When AVI H 264 or MSMPG4 is selected the data can be united The size should be 50M to 500M If you input a number out of the scope for example less than 50M then it will be adjusted to be 50M Of course when the number you input is more than 500M then it will be adjusted to be 500M The data is united according to the converted data For example suppose the size is set to 50M the source data is 76M and the converted data is 3M then there will be only one avi file in the backup folder Don t forget to press Check button before you press Backup 1 2 Auto Backup Click L button to enter set up interface of Auto Backup All Camera EN ia i ia P ERTER EEEE E ET tsa Sun 1
