1. Option 2 soundbar in the lying position 1 2 3 4 5 Take the two speakers and connect them as shown in Fig E Ensure that the female connectors of one speaker fit into the male connectors of the other Hold one speaker firmly and rotate the other in the direction of the closed lock icon Stick the rubber feet to the bottom of the soundbar as shown in Fig E Place the soundbar on a stable level surface close to a power outlet Option 3 wall mounted soundbar Connect the two speakers as shown in Fig E Risk of injury from electric shock There is a risk of electric shock from power cables Choose a suitable location for installing the device and make sure that you do not damage any concealed electrical or installation cables when drilling Remove the two screws at each end of the soundbar see Fig F a Screw the two mounting brackets onto the ends of the soundbar using the screws that you have just removed Fig F b Drill 2 holes in parallel 3 8 mm depending on your wall in the wall The distance between the holes should be 863 mm see Fig F c Push wall plugs into the drilled holes Screw the screws into the wall plugs so that the heads are protruding about 5 mm from the wall see Fig F d Hang the soundbar together with the attached wall mounts onto the screw heads and press the soundbar gently downwards until the screws click into the wall mounts see Fig F e

AFTER SALES SUPPORT www medion com au a 1300 884 987 Connecting an audio device Connecting an audio device Observe the information in section Safety instructions page 10 ff Also comply with the operating instructions of the device to which you want to connect the soundbar Switch off all devices before connecting them You can connect a number of different audio devices to this device for example an MP3 player a CD player the receiver of your stereo system a computer or even your television Connecting a device via the AUX socket Audio cable with 2 x 3 5 mm jack You will need an audio cable with 2 x 3 5 mm jacks supplied to connect to a headphone jack of a CD player MP3 player or similar see Fig J variant A 1 Set the volume on the MP3 device to medium Then switch the device off 2 Connect one jack plug into the AUX socket on the soundbar 3 Plug the other jack into the headphone output socket on the audio device Audio cable with cinch plugs You will need an audio cable with cinch plugs 1 x jack gt 2 x cinch see Fig J variant B 1 Set the audio device to a medium volume Then switch the device off 2 Connect the single jack plug into the AUX socket on the soundbar 3 Now connect the red and white cinch plugs at the other end of the cable into the correspondingly coloured audio out sockets on the output device NOTE Devices such as Stereo receivers or television sets usually hav

ONNECT Connecting the soundbar and the subwoofer to the power outlet 1 Connect the mains cable to the AC connection socket on the devices see Fig K 2 Ensure that all of the desired devices are connected 3 Plug the mains cable into an 220 240 V 50 60 Hz power outlet Switching the soundbar on 1 Switch the soundbar on by pressing the button on the soundbar or the remote control 2 Switch on your audio device select a medium volume and start playback NOTE If a TV or external device is connected via the AUX ports the soundbar will automatically turn on after a few moments if the TV or the external device is switched on If the TV orthe external device is disconnected or switched off the soundbar will switch off automatically after around 15 minutes The soundbar will also switch off automatically after around 15 minutes if the volume of the television external device is too low only for connections via AUX Connecting the soundbar and subwoofer Bluetooth operation enables wireless connection to the subwoofer Ensure that the distance between the two devices is not greater than six metres The soundbar and the subwoofer automatically connect to each other if they are switched on 22 AFTER SALES SUPPORT www medion com au 2 1300 884 987 Select audio source If however automatic connection is not possible you can connect the subwoofer to the soundbar manually 1 Switch the soundbar on
