TO CHANGE 2 3 Connect LCD to Baseboard The 4 3 WQVGA LCD included with the development kit connects to the baseboard 60 pin LCD connector 1 Align the connector on the LCD board with the baseboard 60 pin LCD connector Note Make sure that all the pins on the baseboard connector line up with all the holes on the LCD connector 2 Press straight down on the LCD board until the ejector levers of the baseboard LCD connector move into a vertical position See Figure 2 5 Note Use caution when pressing down on the LCD board as the solder points may be sharp Figure 2 5 Connect LCD to Baseboard 3595595 Ri yt 8 Before using the LCD touch screen remove the protective plastic film covering the display 4 To remove the LCD board from the baseboard pull back on the ejector levers until the connector on the display board moves up and disengages from the baseboard 60 pin LCD connector ZOOM Torpedo Devkit PRELIMINARY DOCUMENT SUBJECT TO CHANGE QuickStart Guide 11 2 4 Connecting Power and Charging Battery The OMAP35x Torpedo Development Kit is designed to run off of battery power The 5V power supply is provided to charge the battery if necessary the development kit can run off the 5V power supply Note It is not recommended to run off the 5V power supply if the battery is not connected 1 Connect the regulated 5V power supply to the appropriate power adapter for the geographic region in which you are using the d
