4. is advisable to apply an inflatable boat protectant for added ultraviolet UV protection Clean the boat with soap and water to remove all loose dirt after using Oil and tar can be removed with marine cleaners for inflatable boats DO NOT use other chemicals Always clean the boat with fresh water and apply UV protection over the entire surface It is equally important to clean all valves with a sponge or rag and rinse off with running water After cleaning allow the craft to dry completely before repacking or storing to reduce the chance of mold or mildew buildup Cover your craft to protect it from extended periods of direct sunlight It is recommended that you add UV protection after washing with any strong stain removing products or a minimum of once a year A Never wash your inflatable boat with e cleaner containing bleach e Paint or Lacquer Thinner e Mek acetone or gasoline e WD 40 or any other oil Repair Repair is Simple with the provided repair kit Simply cut a patch larger than the tear Clean surfaces thoroughly and apply glue to patch and to the craft Allow 10 minutes curing time before applying the patch over the hole Apply pressure until the patch is secure Allow a drying time of one to two hours before repacking the craft RESCUE REPAGKING Remove all three caps Push and turn to lock the valve stem in the open position Release the air from all chambers Fold the craft in half and place in front of sto
5. olled the craft should remain in its laid out position to allow for easy inflation Ti GM h RESCUE UP INSTRUCTIONS Make sure the inner air stop is in the out position Use the foot pump and or the inflator gun provided to connect and fill the cham bers The connector will lock into place when connected correctly A Y Check to make sure you did not exceed the max psi once inflated When inflating the tubes of the craft do not 7 exceed 3 psi Once inflated webbing can be tied to the inner floor This and the attached handles provide for easy and efficient mobility even for a single individual RESCUE LOADING A PATIENT 2 US AME gr Approach from a downwind direction and safely make contact with the patient Once in contact make sure to maintain a firm grip on the patient Draw the patient to the rear of the craft Pull the patient onto the inner bed of the boat adan PE m EEE Once the patient is securely onboard check vital signs then signal shore to retrieve RESCUE Maintain constant contact with the overturned craft Grasping one of the bottom handles push with opposite hand down and outward on the craft while pulling the handle toward yourself The craft will be upright and ready to board RESCUE CLEANING AND REPAIR Cleaninq Because the RIT Craft fabric is PVC it does not need a lot of maintenance Prior to using the craft it
