39. seen graphing programs run on SpeeDemon equipped systems and the generation and display of the graphs or charts is notably faster This device should really shine in doing sorts on databases and is great with spreadsheets Overall a boon for business applications Yes you may play games with SpeeDemon in operation but the games may run fast This could result in the game being un playable On the other hand we might think of it as a new and greater level of challenge in game playing And of course with slow games it is areal help I was once accused of writing a review that was so glowing that it was assumed that I was throwing roses not being objective So is all rosy in the garden No there have been problems experienced In one instance when running in the fast mode the Apple bypassed a clock card before it could respond In discussion with the owner of that system it appears the problem is one of how and where the clock card is being used and can be solved by moving the clock card Also there is a jumper on the SpeeDemon board which can be removed that will slow down I O access to slots 4 amp 5 s I take it a clock card or any peripheral device requiring a normal operating speed should work if located in one of those slots The only software problem has been in trying to run DB Master version 4 0 which has something to do with some timing changes on Some tracks that are part of the copy pro
