10. ng from your DVD player or satellite cable box We recommend HDMI which provides both digital picture and digital audio If you aren t able to use HDMI we recommend a component connection Please check your DVD player or satellite cable box for more information ueStar NEC How does the NEC hood attach to the display The hoods are custom made for the MultiSync 90 and PA series displays and attache via a series of clips that fit into holes on the back of the display A flap on the top of the hood allows a color measurement sensor to be lowered into place for calibrating the display without having to remove the hood Can the NEC hood be used when the display is oriented in portrait mode No The hood was designed for landscape orientation noticed that the top of the LCD panel on the LCD3090WQxXi moves slightly if push it Is this normal Yes In order to reduce pressure points around the edge of the LCD panel which could cause screen uniformity problems it s suspended within the monitor frame Some slight movement is normal but be sure to never apply any pressure to the screen surface What are the differences between the LCD2690WUXi and LCD2690WUXi2 The following are the main changes made to the LCD2690WUXi2 1 The color gamut has been increased and the green primary now almost exactly match those of AdobeRGB The red and blue primaries exceed that of AdobeRGB 2 The contrast ratio has been improved from 800 1 to 1000 1
