The custom size media is ready for use The procedure to use custom size media in the Media management mode 1 Put the custom size media into a paper tray The next step is to program the Oc VarioPrint 3070 3090 3110 for the use of the custom size media Press the System manager key Press the Paper function key repeatedly to select the paper tray in which you put the media The media names are shown because the Oc VarioPrint 3070 3090 3110 is set to the Media management mode Turn the scroll wheel to select the custom size media from the list The media parameters for the selected media name are imported from the Media catalog You do not need to set the parameters separately at the operator panel Press the Close function key The custom size media is ready for use 111 Load oversize media Load oversize media Introduction 2 3 4 Task for operators key operators All the paper trays of the Oc VarioPrint 3070 3090 3110 can process oversize media Oversize media is media that only fits in the paper trays if you remove the slide from the paper tray Oversize media is a special type of custom size media for example A3 or R Ledger This procedure describes the steps that are required to use oversize media Enter the oversize media in the Media catalog see Load custom size media on page 110 Remove the slide inside the paper tray Load the oversize media Program

Stapler 1 empty If the stapler runs empty when you start a job or during a job a warning message appears When a job stops because of a lack of staples you can do the following m Refill the staplers m Cancel the job m Continue the job without staples Note Only use staples of type S3 Illustration I AH y 63 Location of the on line staplers How to access the staplers 1 and 2 Open the front door of the finisher Open the top cover of the finisher Check that the staplers are aligned correctly Note The staplers must be extended to the maximum position If the staplers are not in the correct position stapler 1 is not accessible 105 Add the staples 4 Close the top cover of the finisher if the staplers are not in the correct position 5 Pull stapler 2 toward you until the stapler cannot go any further 6 Open the top cover of the finisher again D Note Srapler 1 is accessible when the stapler cartridge is tilted upward Attention When you open the front door and the top cover of the finisher look if the jaws of the staplers are open If the jaws are not completely open you must close the top cover and the front door of the finisher and wait 15 seconds The Oc VarioPrint 3070 3090 3110 opens the jaws of the staplers Now you can remove the stapler cartridge A Attention Do not remove the stapler cartridge if the jaws are partly closed If you did remove the stapler c
