7. aPlace Videoconferencing System Installing Projector The projector must be mounted to the adjustable projector bracket that is already installed on shelf of the mobile cart The top half of the projector mount is to be installed to the projector with the parts from the ACCESSORY KIT Refer the follow ing illustration for mounting the projector Attaching Top half Mount O 1 Carefully turn the projector upside down 2 Place the top half of the projector mount onto the bottom of the projector Make sure that the existing screws on the plate face away up from the bottom of the projector and the single screw is toward the rear of the projector 3 Align the holes on the plate with that of the projector 4 Set the plate up by placing one 1 2 plastic spacer and one 3 8 plastic spacer on the vented side of the projector 5 Do the same on the other side of the projector with one 1 2 plastic spacer 6 Screw the plate to the projector through the plastic spacers D5029302 TANDBERG MediaPlace Videoconferencing System INSTALLATION 13 Attaching Projector to Cart 1 Find the set of cables tie wrapped to the projector bracket on the mobile cart Cut the tie wrap and set cables aside so that you will be able to properly attach the projector 2 Turnthe projector right side up and face the projector out from the mobile cart 3 Align the three screws on the top half of the mount with the corresponding holes of t
8. and hold for 2 seconds e The POWER LED on the control pad flashes orange during cool down e Wait until the POWER LED changes to a ary steady orange before you set the Power Switch to O OFF Refer to the projector manual for optimal specifications for screen types and projections parameters DVD VCR Combination Unit This unit can be used to present video using either VHS or DVD formats A VCR or DVD recorder can be used to record any portion of the presentation as needed OPTIONAL FEATURE A EXCEPT IN EMERGENCIES DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER SWITCH UNLESS THE POWER INDICATOR IS A STEADY ORANGE OTHERWISE IMPROPER COOLING OF THE LAMP WILL REDUCE THE LIFE OF THE LAMP OR MAY DAMAGE THE LAMP TANDBERG MediaPlace Videoconferencing System INTRODUCTION 9 Remote Control The TANDBERG remote control is used to control all codec functions of the MediaPlace system If the screen saver or sleep mode is activated picking up or moving the remote control will automatically wake up the system THE MOBILE CART HAS TWO z REMOTE CONTROLLER HOLSTERS ONE FOR THE TANDBERG REMOTE AND ONE FOR ANOTHER REMOTE OF YOUR CHOICE DVD VCR PROJECTOR ETC Refer the CODEC USER MANUAL on remote control operation PC Laptop A user supplied PC or laptop can be connected to the MediaPlace via the PC Presenter VGA IN connection on the codec This enables electronic content to be viewed ina videocon
