Check the connection of the in line cable with the original printer socket If all the connections are secure but the unit still does not function contact your NORAC Service representative for further assistance NOT PRINTING TRANSACTIONS 2 0 If the normal transactions are not printing but the Data Capture Module s LED is flashing ensure that the paper ticket is inserted all the way in under the print head Check the cable from the printer for proper connection Check whether normal transaction printing is working after the Data Capture Module is disconnected from the header If it prints then contact your NORAC Service representative for further assistance If still no printing occurs for normal transactions remove the header cable connection and restore the printer connection directly to the original connection If it prints then contact your NORAC Service representative for further assistance 10 6 0 NORAC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL INC STATEMENT OF LIMITED WARRANTY NORAC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL INC also known as NORAC warrants all control systems equipment of its manufacture to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years This warranty period is for a period of 24 months from the date the equipment is delivered by NORAC or its authorized dealer to the purchaser NORAC will repair free of charge items returned within the warranty period to one of the following authorized warranty locations

6. ckage consists of a header frame unit and the removable module as shown below The header frame is installed in the printer compartment of the OnBoard control box Header Frame Figure 1 Basic Package 2 0 Installation Header Frame The header frame should be mounted on the left side of the ticket printer in the control cabinet The front edge will fit between the bottom foam and the front panel The back edge will fit between the back foam and the bottom foam A self tapping screw may be used to secure the front edge of the header frame to the panel of the control cabinet Printer Plug Control Box Plug Front Figure 2 Header Frame Printer Connection Disconnect the existing printer cable from the top of the printer compartment Re connect the printer cable to the panel mount connector on the header frame Connect the in line cable from the header frame to the original printer socket at the top of the printer compartment Figure 3 Connecting the System Insert paper into the printer and push the START button on the OnBoard control panel Printing should occur if the cable has been connected properly Data Capture Module NOTE Before installing or removing the Data Capture Module ALWAYS power down the system first One end of the Data Capture Module has a printed circuit board edge connector After powering down slide the edge connector into the header frame guide and push it all the way in until
7. is point the printer will print NO TRANSACTIONS FOUND Before printing a report make sure there is enough paper To give you time to change paper the module will wait up to three minutes for you to print a previous day before resetting to print the most recent transaction day turning the power OFF then ON will also do this NOTE The module will automatically skip days on which there were not any transactions NOTE You may not print in the middle of a transaction Reset To clear all the stored transactions put a piece of paper into the printer Use a small pencil eraser or the handle of a small screwdriver to push on the recessed Reset Button through the hole opening The button should be pushed for 2 seconds The LED will flash to indicate clearing in progress When the clearing is done it will print Clearing done Version XX to the printer Jack In order to upload the stored information to a PC the removable module must be removed from the header Power must be supplied to the module through the jack A 110Vac to 9Vdc adapter is provided with the option kit A snap cap is provided to cover this hole opening D Connector The removable module can be connected to a PC communication port using a null modem cable supplied with the PC Upload option through the D connector at the end of the module Figure 5 25 Pin D connector Computer 4 0 PC Upload Option 42343 The PC Upload Option allows y
