1. Switch on the appliance 2 Make sure that the appliance is in set ting mode 3 Press and hold function buttons D and E until the multitab indicator light goes off 4 Fill the salt container and rinse aid dis penser 5 Adjust the water hardness setting to the highest level 6 Doawashing programme without dishes 7 Adjust the water softener to the water hardness in your area 8 Adjust the rinse aid dosage e Make sure that cutlery and dishes do not bond together Make sure that the glasses do not touch other glasses Put small items in the cutlery basket e Mix the spoons with other cutlery to pre vent them to bond together e When you put the items in the baskets make sure that the water can touch all surfaces Put light items in the upper basket Make sure that the items do not move Water droplets can collect on plastic items and non stick pans SETTING AND STARTING A WASHING PROGRAMME Starting the washing programme without delay start 1 Activate the appliance 2 Make sure that the appliance is in set ting mode 3 Set the washing programme e The related programme indicator comes on e The programme time flashes in the display 4 Close the appliance door the washing programme starts automatically Starting the washing programme with delay start 1 Activate the appliance 2 Make sure that the appliance is in set ting mode 3 Set the washing programme 4 Press the delay

12. button again and again until the display shows the time of the delay start e The time of the delay flashes in the display e The delay indicator is on 5 Close the appliance door the count down starts automatically e When the countdown is completed the washing programme starts auto matically If you open the door while the count down operates the display shows the time of the countdown The opening of the appliance door stops the countdown When you close the door the countdown continues from the point of interruption Cancelling the delay start If the appliance door is open and the countdown has not started 1 Press the delay button again and again until the display shows the time of the washing programme e The time flashes in the display 2 Close the appliance door the washing programme starts automatically If the appliance door is closed and the countdown operates 1 Open the appliance door 2 Press the delay button again and again until the display shows the time of the washing programme 3 Close the appliance door the washing programme starts automatically Interruption of a washing programme e Open the appliance door electrolux 11 The washing programme stops e Close the appliance door The washing programme continues from the point of interruption Cancelling the washing programme If the washing programme has not started you can change the selection To change the s
