1. In a City or Near an Address to search for a related POI For Current location and Along my route the POI list will be automatically generated If you selected In a City or Near an Address enter the name of the city or town nearest the POI you are searching for Tap Next The RW 400 will then search the list of millions of POls When complete a list of the nearest matches will appear on screen Highlight the correct one and tap details to view it on a map The RW 400 will also display the phone number for the POI if available Tap OK and the RW 400 will create a route from your current location to your selected POI 33 ADJUSTING THE POI SETTINGS You can choose when to have POls shown on screen and the distance at which you are alerted to them by adjusting the POI settings Tap Menu gt Settings gt Next gt POls Enable the POls by checking the box Disable by un checking Choose to Show POls Always Never or When Stopped from the drop down menu In the Report POls this far ahead field select a distance between 0 2 and 25 miles Select whether to show POls that are on your route or nearby it by checking one of the options Select specific POI categories to display by checking the boxes Tap OK to apply the settings and return to the Settings menu SETTING DETOURS You can program your RW 400 to make a detour on a part of the calculated route Select Menu gt Detour From the Detour options select Avoid Roads
