Do not remove the unit cover under any conditions There are no user serviceable parts inside Never plug this unit in to a dimmer pack Always be sure to mount this unit in an area that will allow proper ventilation Allow about 6 15cm between this device and a wall To reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire do not expose this unit rain or moisture This unit is intended for indoor use only use of this product out doors voids all warranties During long periods of non use disconnect the unit s main power Always mount this unit in safe and stable matter Power Cord Protection Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them paying particular attention to cords at plugs convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the fix ture Cleaning The fixture should be cleaned only as recommended by the manufacturer The fixture should be serviced by qualified service personnel when A The power cord or the plug has been damaged B Objects have fallen or liquid has been spilled into the appliance C The appliance has been exposed to rain or water D The fixture does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance o American DJ Supply www americandj com Starball LED Instruction Manual Page 3 Starball LED Warranty Registration The Starball LED carries a one year 365 days limited warr2. light output check the fuse If the fuse is good please contact our toll free customer support number for further instructions Please do not return the unit to your dealer without first contacting customer sup port eAmerican DJ Supply www americandj com Starball LED Instruction Manual Page 4 Starball LED Cleaning Fixture Cleaning Due to fog residue smoke and dust cleaning the fixture should be carried out periodically to optimize light output 1 Use normal glass cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe down the outside casing every 20 days 2 Use a small brush and normal glass cleaner with a soft cloth to wipe down the inside casing every 30 60 days 3 Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit back in 4 Frequent cleaning will extend lamp life and ensure fixture reliability Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the fixture operates l e smoke fog residue dust dew In heavy use we recom mend cleaning on a monthly basis Periodic cleaning will ensure longevity and crisp beam output Starball LED Trouble Shooting Trouble Shooting Listed below are a few common problems and solutions you should try before contacting customer support Unit does not rotate and LED does not turn on 1 Be sure you have connected your unit into a matching wall outlet 2 Be sure the external fuse has not blown The fuse is located on the side panel of the unit Be sure the power cor

5. anty Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to validate your purchase All returned service items whether under warranty or not must be freight pre paid and accompany a return authorization R A number The R A number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package A brief description of the problem as well as the R A num ber must also be written down on a piece of paper and included in the shipping container If the unit is under warranty you must provide a copy of your proof of purchase invoice You may obtain a R A number by contacting customer support at 800 322 6337 Starball LED Operation Power Supply Before plugging your unit in be sure the source voltage in your area matches the required voltage for your American DJe Starball LED The American DJe Starball LED is available in a 120v and 230v version Because line voltage may vary from venue to venue be sure to plug your fixture into a wall outlet with a matching power supply before attempting to operate General Operation Simplicity Just plug this fixture in and watch it go This fixture is designed to operate as a stand alone unit there is no need of a con troller It has been tested at the factory there is no assembly neces sary The Starball LED is ready to be plugged in out of the box There is no power switch after plugging the unit the unit will light up and begin to slowly rotate in a single direction If there is no rotation and
6. d is properly seated in the power outlet Be sure your main power outlet has power A W American DJ Supply www americandj com Starball LED Instruction Manual Page 5 Starball LED Warranty MANUFACTURER S LIMITED WARRANTY A American DJ Inc hereby warrants to the original purchaser American DJ and American Audio products to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a prescribed period from the date of purchase see specific warranty period on reverse This warranty shall be valid only if the product is purchased within the United States of America including possessions and territories It is the owner s responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by ac ceptable evidence at the time service is sought B For warranty service you must obtain a Return Authorization number RA before sending back the product Contact American Du Inc Service Department at 800 322 6337 Send the product only to the American DJ Inc factory All shipping charges must be pre paid If the requested repairs or service including parts replacement are within the terms of this warranty American Du Inc will pay return shipping charges only to a designated point within the United States If the entire instrument is sent it must be shipped in it s original package No accessories should be shipped with the product If any accessories are shipped with the product American DJ Inc shall have no liability w
