Connecting the Player 59 Connection example 3 By connecting to a regular AV amplifier or stereo amp you AV amplifier can enjoy playback with improved sound quality Connect this player s audio output jacks to an amplifiers CD LD AUX or other audio input jacks Do not connect to PHONO jacks Connect this player s video output jack to the amplifiers video input jack Finally connect to a home wall outlet cee AV amplifier Note x Cables can be found at your local audio video dealer When connecting to a component bearing the Pioneer mark If you use a commercially available cord with a mini plug no resistance to connect this player s CONTROL IN jack to the control output jack of another component bearing the GJ mark you can control the player as though it were a component in a system system control If you connect for system control you cannot operate the player directly by pointing the remote control at it and pressing buttons When controlling as asystem be sure to make connection to the amplifier using an audio cord even when using only digital components For more details refer to the connected component s operation manual Surround sound can be enjoyed with amplifiers that have a built in Dolby Pro Logic decoder Downloaded From Disc Player com Pioneer Manuals 60 Names and Functions E Remote control Menu button MENU
