CLING Many of the materials used in the chair s construction can be recycled Deliver the chair to VELA or our local recycling centre 1 6 VELA TANGO USERMANUAL SEAT HEIGHT To adjust the seat height just push the lever placed at your right hand The gas spring should always be replaced by a VELA technician or other qualified person with relevant experience 4 SEAT TILT The seat tilt is changed by using the lever placed in the right side behind the armrest SEAT ROTATION SOME MODELS You can rotate the seat 90 to the left and 90 to the right by using the lever placed at your left hand Pull out the lever to use the open rotation BACK TILT The back tilt can be changed by using the lever placed on the right side BACK HEIGHT The back height is changed by using the lever which is placed on the back of the chair Remember to tightend the lever again BRAKE VELA Tango has a centralbrake The hand brake is pushed forwards to lock the wheels and backwards to release them The brake can easily be changed to the other side if requested Just remove the rubberstop and place the brake in the hole 6 ARMREST The height as well as the width of the armrests can be adjusted 4 HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT The height is adjusted by loosening the lever Remember to tighten them well again WIDTH ADJUSTMENT The width is set by loosening the lever under the seat and adjusting the width Remember to tighten the lev
4. e parts and fittings DISTRIBUTOR 1 2 WARRANTY VELA offers 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials The warranty applies only if original spare parts and accessories are used and always provided that adjustments are carried out by authorised service technicians The warranty does not cover accidental damage including damage caused by misuse or neglect The warranty does not extend to non durable parts which are subject to normal wear and tear and need periodic replacement VELA assumes no liability for damage to the product or injury to the user as a result of e Transport e Misuse e Ordinary wear and tear e Incorrect use e Using non original spare parts and accessories e Adjustments carried out by unauthorised service technicians VELA reserves the right to inspect the product being claimed for and the relevant documentation before agreeing to the warranty claim and to decide upon whether to replace or repair the defective product It is the customer s responsibility to return the item being claimed for under warranty to the address of purchase The warranty is given by VELA or subsequently an VELA dealer REPAIR If there is a fault on your chair you should contact your dealer at once Defective chairs should not be used If your chair needs reconditioning or repair only original VELA parts must be used Accessories or available spare parts which are broken can be forwarded to VELA for repair If fault
