6. the Chair The CH1043 Transport chair can be folded for storage and transportation with just a few easy steps 1 Pull pins 3 that secure the front of the arms 1 and allow them to drop down 2 Release locks 4 on back and fold back down 3 Fold footplates 5 up and lift footrests 6 all the way up vertically 4 Lift folding straps 7 to complete folding procedure Open Unfold the Chair 1 Pull lifting straps 7 apart and push down seat rails until seat upholstery is taut to unfold chair 2 Fold backrest up until the fold down locks 4 engage 3 Lower footrests 6 and flip down footplates 5 4 Lift arms 1 and position front arm posts into arm brackets 2 and ensure the locking pin 3 is engaged Seat upholstery must be taut for arms to lock properly SUOI ONAJSU Wheel Locks Adjusting the Cables The wheel locks may require adjustment from time to time This is normal for any device using wire cables To adjust the wheel locks loosen the wheel lock nut 8 and turn the cable adjustment screw 9 clockwise to loosen the brakes and counter clockwise to tighten them Once adjusted re tighten the lock nut being careful not to allow the adjustment screw to turn When adjusted properly the brake bar 10 should embed into the tire deep enough to prevent the wheel from turning when wheel locks are applied Using the Wheel Locks The wheel locks are for holding the chair parked not for sl
