Service Bulletin BKSB 1027 Issue Date 05 27 2009 Page 1 of 2 7100 Technology Drive West Melbourne FL 32904 1 800 422 6281 Issue DPH Command portables firmware update Affected Models DPH CMD digital portables Recommended Action Update radio firmware It is recommended by BK Radio that this upgrade be performed on all DPH CMD portable radios with a serial number below 0920000 Please note This program will validate the firmware revision level within the unit before writing any information The update will only be written if required Update Added radio features Lock All function The Lock All function allows the radio user to lock not only the touch pad but also the three toggle switches and channel select switch on top of the radio Please refer to the User Manual Addendum for operation NOTE Enabling the Lock All function requires the LAA0747 radio editor software version 1 0 2 Contact RELM Wireless or your RELM BK Radio dealer Enhanced Cloning Ability This update enables the DPH5102X CMD portable radio to clone to legacy BK Radio products including the GPH CMD and the DPHX User Code Guard Selection Hot Key Allows for direct selection of the transmit user code guard via the numeric keypad eliminating the need to hold the T button prior to selection Parts and Equipment Requirements 1 LAA0725 Programming Cable 1 Software Patch from RELM com2.
