5. install the USB driver When you connect the camera to your computer with the USB cable your computer will automatically detect the camera as Removable Disk 1 Turn your computer on 2 Insert the CD ROM S SW18 into the CD ROM drive The PENTAX Software Installer screen appears automatically but no action is required at this stage 3 Make sure the camera is turned off and connect it to your computer with the USB cable 4 Turn your camera on Your computer will automatically detect the camera as new hardware and the Wizard screen will appear Click Next This wizard searches for new drivers for PENTAX Optib30 A device driver is a software program that makes a hardware device work Select Search for the best Aad Now Hardware Wiza driver for your device and click Next What do you want Windows to do Search for the best driver for your device j Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location so you can select the driver you want lt Back ex Cancel Select CD ROM drive and Add New Hardware Wiz click Next If another item has been selected click the box to deselect it Windows will search for new drivers in its driver database on your hard drive and in any of the following selected locations Click Next to start the search CD ROM drive F Microsoft Windows Update I Specify a location JD windxdrv Audio 1 373vwing98 y Brows
