2. 3 With the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 3 cues will fire on Receiver A and Receiver B simultaneously With the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 1 cues will fire on Receiver A only With the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 2 cues will fire on Receiver B only EXAMPLE 2 Use 5 receivers and 1 WPTX transmitter You want to have a sequence run across 3 receivers and then you want to fire cues manually both simultaneously and individually on 2 more receivers Receiver A is set up with Address 1 and a sequence time delay It is programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position S Receiver B is set up with Address 2 and a sequence time delay It is programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position S Receiver C is set up with Address 3 and a sequence time delay It is programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position S Note All receivers in a sequencer run must have the same time delay Receiver D is programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 1 and position 3 Receiver E is programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 2 and position 3 2010 www easypyro com 4 To start the sequencer put the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position S and press SEQUENCE and CONFIRM together The sequencer will run across Receivers A B and C in the order of Address 1 2 and 3 To fire cues on Receiver D and Receiver E simultaneously the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL is set to position 3 and any

4. system will charge even when switched OFF Battery Status Light Description RED flashing Battery Low RED steady Battery Charging RED GREEN flashing Battery Almost Full GREEN steady Battery Full Lead Acid Batteries naturally discharge over time To keep the battery in good condition it is recommended the system is charged every 3 months Storing the system in extremely low or high temperatures will shorten the life of the battery 2010 www easypyro com 1 PROGRAMMING A RECEIVER WITH THE TRANSMITTER WARNING Never program the receiver when another transmitter is transmitting This may cause the receiver to be programmed with the wrong transmitter To 1 2 To oe ee clear previously stored transmitters from a receiver Put the receiver FUNCTION SELECTION switch to FIRE position Hold the receiver PROGRAM button until the program light goes out program a receiver with a new transmitter Put receiver FUNCTION SELECTION switch to FIRE position Switch transmitter power ON Turn transmitter SAFETY KEY to ON Set transmitter RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL to desired position On the receiver press and release the PROGRAM button Within 4 seconds press CONFIRM and SEQUENCE ALL or SINGLE on the transmitter so that the transmitter sends a signal The receiver program light blinks twice to indicate the receiver has been programmed The receiver has now been programmed with the
5. transmitter Please see the receiver instructions for further details 2010 www easypyro com BASIC TRANSMITTER OPERATION Button Description RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL Position 1 11 Selects which receiver to fire Program each receiver with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in the position you wish to assign to the receiver More than 1 receiver can be programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in each position For example Position 1 Receiver A Position 2 Receiver D Position 3 Receiver E F All receivers programmed with the same transmitter RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL position will fire at the same time A receiver can be programmed with the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in 2 different positions The receiver can be controlled in both these positions see ADVANCED TRANSMITTER OPERATION RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL Position S To have a sequence or step function roll from 1 receiver to the next Each receiver must have an address set up The receiver must be programmed with the transmitter RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in the S position This is the equivalent of having the handheld transmitter slide switch in position 4 ALL BUTTON The ALL button fires all the cues on the selected receiver STEP BUTTON The STEP button fires the cues sequentially with each successive button press The display will increment each time STEP is pressed Holding STEP will not cause many cues to fire in sequence SEQUENCE BUT

TON The SEQUENCE button starts the sequencer on the receiver s SINGLE BUTTON Fires the cue number selected in the display CONFIRM BUTTON The CONFIRM button and SEQUENCE STEP ALL or SINGLE are pressed to send a signal This is a safety feature to prevent accidental use POWER SWITCH Transmitter power ON OFF SAFETY KEY SWITCH The SAFETY KEY must be switched to ON for the transmitter to send a signal STOP CONT Send a signal to stop or continue a sequence Note Only works with the 2009 and newer models of CH20S and CH20W receiver LED ON OFF Switch the Cue Display ON OFF UP Increase the cue number DOWN Decrease the cue number Timer ON OFF Switch the Total Time Display ON OFF 2010 www easypyro com ADVANCED TRANSMITTER OPERATION A receiver can store more than 1 transmitter or be programmed with more than 1 position on the RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL This allows some cues on a receiver to be controlled individually and some cues to be controlled simultaneously with other cues on other receivers EXAMPLE 1 Use 2 receivers and 1 WPTX transmitter You want to fire cues 1 10 on 2 receivers simultaneously and then fire the remaining cues individually Receiver A is programmed with the transmitter RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 1 and position 3 Receiver B is programmed with the transmitter RECEIVER SELECTION DIAL in position 2 and position
