Connect the protective conductor to the motor s housing The protective conductor connector must have the same cross section as the lines for the power supply Wire an 8 pin M23 male plug as per the connection diagram see Connections page 11 and connect to the corresponding socket on the frequency inverter Use a suitable M23 plug reference see Connections page 11 Connecting digital inputs and interfaces i Various voltages e g 24 V DC and 230 V AC should be not carried together in a cable Therefore the connections of the digital inputs and interfaces must be led separately from the mains connection and from the motor connection To prevent interference the lines must not be laid parallel to each other Lines with various voltages should be laid at a minimum distance of 100 mm from each other and crossed at an angle of 90 Maximum current load with an output voltage of 24 V 100 mA Connectthe digital inputs via a connection cable 5 pin M12 male plug to the frequency inverter dedicated socket see Connection diagram page 13 gt Connect the serial interface via a connection cable RJ45 plug to the frequency inverter dedicated socket see Connection diagram page 13 To this end remove the interface cover on the frequency inverter housing i Protection class IP55 is not achieved if the cover of the serial interface is removed gt Connect the ASI interface via a connection cable 4 pin M12 female plug
