1. 10 GALLON AIR TANK USER S MANUAL J WARNING Read carefully and understand all ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS before operating Failure to follow the safety rules and other basic safety precautions may result in serious personal injury Thank you very much for choosing a Wel Bilt product For future reference please complete the owner s record below Model Purchase Date Save the receipt warranty and these instructions It is important that you read the entire manual to become familiar with this product before you begin using it This air tank is designed for certain applications only The distributor cannot be responsible for issues arising from modification We strongly recommend this item not be modified and or used for any application other than that for which it was designed If you have any questions relative to a particular application DO NOT use this product until you have first contacted the distributor to determine if it can or should be performed on the product For technical questions please call 1 800 222 5381 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Tank Capacity 10 Gallons Hose Length ft GENERAL SAFETY RULES DANO Read and understand all instructions Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in serious injury e Do not operate the product if under the influence of alcohol or drugs Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgment reflexes might be impaired e Do not2. wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in moving parts e Protective gloves and nonskid footwear are recommended e Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair e Use eye protection Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles e Maintain proper footing and balance at all times Tints The warnings cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product but must be supplied by the operator Page2 of 5 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WORK AREA MAKE SURE YOUR WORK AREA IS e Free of damp wet or rainy conditions e Free of flammable gasses or liquids e Clean and uncluttered e Well ventilated FILLING THE TANK Fill tank 1 from a clean and dry compressed air source to max 125 PSI air pressure The best sources for compressed air are local full service gas stations or truck stops To fill press the chuck of the compressed air source hose to the Tank s Fill Stem 5 While filling observe the Pressure Gauge 4 DO NOT OVEREFILL Keep filling until Pressure Gauge reads between 85 and 125 PSI outer reading on gauge OPERATION 1 Press the air chuck 7 onto the fill stem of the inflatable item 2 Turn the red adjustment dial 6 counterclockwise to ON This will let the air flow from the tank and into th
3. e hose 3 DO NOT OVER INFLATE 3 Once the item is filled with the recommended max PSI level remove the air chuck from the item s fill stem 4 Note The tank pressure must exceed the pressure of the item you are filling If not the tank will be unable to expel air If this happens increase the tank pressure and check that the ON OFF adjustment dial is fully open Pee Never fill the tank to more than 125 PSI 5 When done turn adjustment dial to OFF This will close the valve between the tank and hose and keep air from leaking 6 It the tank will not be used for long period of time expel air inside tank and hose Store in clean and dry location away from children MAINTENANCE e Regularly drain water condensation from tank which can lead to internal corrosion and damage to the tank To drain hold tank upside down and remove the bypass valve spring 2 Page3 of 5 DISPOSAL Due to internal corrosion do not use the tank beyond the destroy date stamped into the leg of the tank 1 Safely disable the tank as follows a Depressurize air tank completely by holding the bypass valve spring open Fea Failure to properly depressurize the tank before proceeding may result in serious personal injury b Remove the pressure gauge and hose c Deliver the tank to a pressure tank disposal service if available d If a pressure tank disposal service is not available place the tank in a secure stable working location and dril
