User s Manual 2 4GHz Wireless Keyboard amp Mouse RG2ACKB419 CICI N Lp Ls I REII LILI This 2 4GHz Wireless Keyboard is compatible with Windows 98 2000 XP ME NT VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems This package contains the following 1 x Wireless Keyboard 1 x Wireless Optical Mouse 1 x Nano USB Receiver 1 x Keyboard Silicon Cover 1 x User Manual amp 4 x AAA Batteries The maximum transmission distance is approximately 30ft 10m But the actual operational distance is subject to the environment where the keyboard is used and the amount of interference encountered The receiver and transmitter have auto recognition capability and have been preset to the same channel during production Normally you will not need to reset them during installation INSTALLATION and CONNECTION STEP 1 1 Open the battery cover 2 Puttwo AAA batteries into the battery compartment 3 Turn on the switch located at the bottom of the mouse When not in use turn OFF the switch to save energy 4 Retrieve the Nano Receiver inside the battery compartment Press Receiver downward to retrieve it Connect the USB receiver to an unused USB port on your computer or to a port on an external USB hub The computer will prompt found new hardware This indicates that the Receiver is connected and functioning STEP 2 Remove the battery compartment lid behind the keyb2. oard and insert two AAA batteries as shown below Please be careful not to load the battery incorrectly There are guide marks inside the compartment to make sure they are in the right direction Attention If the battery voltage is low the red LED will be lighted NOTES A If you have completed the above installation steps but the keyboard still does not function the receiver and transmitter have lost auto recognition and must be reconnected Repeat the recognition process until the receiver and keyboard are linked Otherwise please turn to a support technician for help B The batteries provided will last many hours of use but if the keyboard begins to respond slowly the batteries should be replaced Alkaline Lithium Ion or rechargeable batteries may be used as replacements HOT KEYS GUIDE Following is a guide showing all the hot keys that are preset in this keyboard Volume Web Home Sleep Volume www ranger technology com
