7. hould have slight tension too much tension can limit steering speed and limit power from the kite You can test the slack by pulling on the ball next to depower loop Have someone check the shape of the leading edge to ensure the leading edge is not being flattened out by too much tension 9 Once setting are correct trim length of Dyneema Leader line to desired length Warning Important note on line setup 00 I O O1 gt CO NO Over time kite lines will stretch It is recommended that you monitor your kite s performance in relation to how your kite lines are stretching The center lines which attaches to the leading edge of the kite will stretch at a different rate than the steering lines and the 5th line due to the different amounts of tension that occur This means you will have to monitor the slack in the 5th line above the Y connector If at full power the line is slack you can move the connection point on the 5th line to eliminate the slack and give the kite optimal performance Test the slack by pulling on the ball at the fixed point above the Depower loop and watch the results at the kite Have someone look at the shape of the leading edge to make sure it is not flat in anyway Adjustments can be made at the 5th line by changing the knot position on the leader line on the kite Adjustments to the flying lines can be made on the Outside steering lines by using the Knotless stopper balls located on the bar ends Date Created M
