Network mode The name of the wireless LAN to which the terminal belongs Wireless terminals with different ESS IDs cannot communicate with each other You can break up a network by assigning different ESS IDs to the terminals The operation mode set to fit the form of the LAN to be used The ADHOC Simple and Infrastructure Standard Brouter Modes are described in Operation of the FLEXLAN DS110 in Chapter 3 The compatible ad hoc and compatible infrastructure modes are intended for communications with APs and wireless cards from other vendors that comply with the Wi Fi standard However communication with such products is not guaranteed Channel to be used for communication It is recommended to use channels 1 6 and 11 to prevent radio interference Specify the wireless transmission speed Perform proprietary encryption of individual communication packets If using encryption communication will not work unless the type and key settings for both devices are the same Sets the WEP function Specify the number of WEP key to use for data transmission in the default key ID setting Two types of WEP key can be used 40bit or 128bit The key is not used if Disable is selected A string of up to 32 single byte alphanumeric characters The string is case sensitive Compatible ADHOC Compatible Infrastructure ADHOC Simple M ode Infrastructure Standard Brouter Check box 1Mb s 2Mb
