Client station installation diagram For both the base station and the client station installations the ACRS 2 0 radio SMA connector is connected to the feed cable which is connected to the antenna The base and client radio operation can be controlled through base control PC or client control PC connected to the radios through Ethernet switches Once the hardware installation is complete follow the instructions in the following sections to perform the software installation on the control PC Note if an installed radio unit is redeployed at a differently location the installer must reconfigure the radio coordinates to reflect the location change Software Installation The USB memory stick comes with the package contains the software installer AdaptrumTVBDStationInstallerSetup exe for the base station software installation or AdaptrumTVBDClientInstallerSetup exe for the client station software installation The software can run on Windows XP or Windows 7 The following describes the installation process on a Windows 7 PC 1 On the base control PC double click the installer executable The following set up program will show up Select Next to continue installation Z Setup Adaptrum Welcome to the Adaptrum Setup Wizard This will install Adaptrum version 3 03 on your computer Itis recommended that you dose all other applications before continuing Click Next to continue or Cancel to exit

Setup 2 Select the desired installation directory and click Next The default is C Program Files Adaptrum ie Setup Adaptrum Select Destination Location Where should Adaptrum be installed bh Setup will install Adaptrum into the following folder To continue dick Next If you would like to select a different folder cick Browse C Program Files Adaptrum Browse At least 54 8 MB of free disk space is required cek es eal 3 Select a folder in the Start Menu to place the program executable shortcut and click Next The default is AdaptrumStation for the base station installation 1 r tup Adaptrum Where should Setup place the program s shortcuts 4 Double check the folder selections and click Install to install the program ra setup Adaptrum Ready to Install Setup is now ready to begin installing Adaptrum on your computer 5 The installation progress window will show l Setup Adaptrum 10 x Installing Please wait while Setup installs Adaptrum on your computer C Program Files Adaptrum media wideos startrek tr2_h480p_2m5 TS 6 Once the installation is complete click Finish Z Setup Adaptrum Completing the Adaptrum Setup Wizard Setup has finished installing Adaptrum on your computer The application may be launched by selecting the installed icons Click Finish to exit Setup
