2. of the adhesive strip and attach it to the rear of the backing plate ensuring none of it is visible from the front e Find the area you want to mount the doorbell Flat smooth surfaces are ideal Make sure they are clean and dry before mounting e Peel off the other side of the adhesive strip and attach the doorbell to the mounting surface Mounting the receiver speaker unit There is no requirement to mount the receiver You may find it more convenient to place it ona shelf or table One of the benefits of a battery operated wireless doorbell is that if you have a large house you can take the receiver with you No more missing visitors because you were all the way at the back of the house or by the pool If you would like to mount the device you simply need to attach the two screws to a wall Place them level to each other about 24mm 15 16 apart Depending on the surface you may need to drill guide holes and or use masonry plugs or dry wall anchors Do not insert the screws all the way Leave about 7mm 4 protruding from the wall Then place the unit onto the screws ensuring the heads of the screws pass through the two mounting holes on the rear of the unit You can then shift the unit downwards to ensure it sits on the screws firmly WARNING When fitting the screws into the wall make sure you are not inserting them anywhere near electrical wires including wires that may be behind the wall If you are unsure at a

5. our selection The chime playing is the chime selected and the one which will be heard when the doorbell is pressed e The new chime sound will be set for the most recently pressed Doorbell If you ve paired multiple Doorbells then you can set the chime for each one independently Volume button Chime select Pairing a Doorbell to the Receiver button e Press the Pairing Button on the Chime Unit The button is small and recessed so you ll need a matchstick or similar to press the button e Press the button on the Doorbell Unit e The Doorbell is now paired with the Chime unit See above for instructions on setting a chime sound specific to that Doorbell Pairing Button
