3. e g after transportation do not connect power or switch it on immediately The arising condensation might damage the equipment Leave the equipment switched off until it has reached room temperature If your product fails to function correctly stop use immediately Pack the unit securely preferably in the original packing material and return it to your Pro Light dealer for service Due to the nature of the mercury vapour lamp the lamp must be allowed to cool down for 5 10 minutes before re igniting Failure to wait for the lamp to cool down may cause the lamp to fail prematurely Only use fuses of Same type and rating Repairs servicing and power connection must only be carried out by a qualified technician THIS UNIT CONTAINS NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS WARRANTY One year from date of purchase If this equipment is operated in any other way than those described in this manual the product may suffer damage and the warranty becomes void Incorrect operation may lead to danger e g short circuit burns and electric shocks etc Do not endanger your own safety and the safety of others Incorrect installation or use can cause serious damage to people and or property When connected to the mains power supply the unit should illuminate The UV cannon utilises a mercury vapour lamp which will take 5 10 minutes to reach its full intensity The intensity of the lamp will increase with use The light emitted from this unit is invisible
4. int 04 Safety eye 05 Vents www prolight co uk 400W UV Cannon User Manual 3 EQU fi KX WEEE notice LAMP INFORMATION e Only fit or replace the lamp when the device is unplugged from the mains e Let the lamp cool down for 5 10 minutes before replacing it as the temperature of the lamp can reach 700 C during operation e When handling the lamp do not touch it with your bare hands use a cloth to insert or remove it e Do not install lamps with a higher wattage than what this unit is designed for e Replace a deformed or damaged lamp with a lamp of the same type e To replace the lamp 1 Unscrew and remove the protective grille 2 Carefully remove the old lamp and insert the new lamp into the socket 3 Replace the protective grille and tighten the screws e Care should be taken when handling UV cannons and lamps due to the lamps being very fragile UV cannons containing lamps should always be transported in a foam lined padded flightcase with the lamp facing downwards in a vertical direction Shocks drops or sudden movements can lead to damage of the lamp or lamp base Correct Disposal of this Product Waste Electrical amp Electronic Equipment Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with separate collection systems This marking shown on the product or its literature indicates that it should not be disposed of with other household wastes at the end of its working life To prevent possible harm t
