40. ht Eurotech 2007 Fse uj Tess 7 YPAD 68 WL11xx User Manual Using ZigBeeView ZigBee application available on WL1120 only INTRODUCTION The Zypad mounts a NanoZigBee module option available only on the WL1120 programmed to receive and recognize data sent by wireless sensors scattered in a room or in an open environment The Zypad acts as a base station A wireless sensor is a WL 2 4 transceiver that e collects environmental physical parameters such as temperature e packages the environmental data into structured packets e transmits the data to the base station ZigBeeView is the software application installed on the WL 1120 that manages the data received from the NanoZigBee module ZIGBEEVIEW LOW LEVEL FEATURES The ZigBeeView application e identifies which sensors are transmitting e receives packets and extracts environmental sensor data e saves sensor data into a text file ZIGBEEVIEW HIGH LEVEL FEATURES The ZigBeeView application allow the user e to give a logical name to a not registered sensor e tocreate groups sets of sensors which are semantically similar i e all sensors inside a room Each group is identified by a name given by the user to add or remove a sensor from the list of sensors of a given group to select a group and check which sensor is transmitting to select a sensor of a group and plot in a graph the receiving data to save into text files the group structure and the sensors names
