Operating Instructions Therma K and O Therma K Plus ThermoWorks Digital Thermometers INSTRUMENT OPERATION Where applicable connect a probe via the socket located at the top of the instrument Switch the instrument on and apply the tip of the probe to the substance or medium to be measured The instrument reading may take a few seconds to stabilise depending on the nature of the measurement and sensitivity of the probe HOLD Therma K Plus Press the HOLD C F button to freeze the display AUTO OFF Therma K Plus The instrument will switch off automatically after 10 minutes To disable auto off press down the BACKLIGHT button while switching on the instrument this is reset when the instrument is switched off CHANGE FROM FAHRENHEIT TO CELSIUS Press and hold the ON OFF Therma K Plus HOLD button for 5 seconds and the displayed temperature will change from F and C OPEN CIRCUIT FAULTY PROBE If the probe has developed an Open Circuit fault the instrument will display Err BACKLIGHT Therma K Plus Press the backlight button and the display will illuminate Press again and the backlight will turn off The backlight will turn off automatically after 20 seconds to preserve battery life SENSORS This instrument should only be used with type K Nickel Chromium Nickel Aluminium thermocouple probes to BS EN 60584 2 fitted with miniature type K thermocouple plugs where applicable to BS EN 50212

5. nir des instructions DE BEDIENUNG DES INSTRUMENTS Sofern zutreffend schlie en Sie zuerst eine Messsonde an die Buchse an der Oberseite des Instruments an Schalten Sie das Instrument ein und bringen Sie den Messsonde mit der Substanz bzw dem Medium in Kontakt f r die bzw das die Messung erfolgen soll Je nach Art der Messung und Empfindlichkeit der Messsonde kann es einige Sekunden dauern bis sich der Messwert des Instruments stabilisiert hat HOLD HALTEN Therma K Plus Dr cken Sie die HOLD C F Taste um den angezeigten Wert festzuhalten AUTOMATISCHE ABSCHALTUNG Therma K Plus Das Instrument schaltet sich nach 10 Minuten automatisch ab Um die automatische Abschaltung zu deaktivieren halten Sie die BACKLIGHT Taste beim Umschalten des Instruments gedr ckt Die Deaktivierung wird beim Abschalten des Instruments wieder zur ckgesetzt NDERN VON FAHRENHEIT AUF CELSIUS Dr cken und halten Sie die ON OFF Therma K Plus HOLD Taste f r 5 Sekunden und die angezeigte Temperatur wird zwischen F und C wechseln KABELBRUCH FEHLER DES MESSF HLERS Wenn bei der Messsonde ein Kabelbruch vorliegt wird auf dem Instrument Err angezeigt HINTERGRUNDBELEUCHTUNG Therma K Plus Driicken Sie die Taste fiir Hintergrundbeleuchtung und das Display leuchtet auf Dr cken Sie erneut und die Hintergrundbeleuchtung auszuschalten Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung schaltet sich automatisch nach 20 Sekunden um die Batterie z
