TMF Transceiver is a black plastic box with sloped sides measuring 5 50 Lx 5 25 W x 1 75 D inches The front of the unit has three LEDs and the rear has one USB type B jack and one RJ11 jack NOTE The TMA DTMF Transceiver is not required for VoIP or GSM cellular applications The USB Flash Drive contains all the files to be installed on a PC that are required to run the TMA application and the TMA User Guide The USB Security Key provides the necessary hardware security for the Administrator account access to the TMA application The USB Security Key has the appearance of a USB flash drive or memory stick The USB cables are used to interconnect the PC running the TMA application with the DIMF Transceiver and GSM modem The cable is equipped with a USB type A plug at one end for connection to a USB port at the PC and a USB type B plug at the other end for connection to the DTMF Transceiver and GSM modem The telephone line cord is used to connect the DTMF Transceiver to a dedicated PABX telephone line The telephone line cord is equipped with an RJ11 plug at each end and is approximately 7 feet in length The MultiTech GSM cellular modem is an aluminum chassis measuring 3 17 L x 2 45 W x 1 16 D inches The modem has LEDs to indicate status of the GSM wireless signal A local antenna is included but depending on the location of the installation a remote antenna not included may be required NOTE Before you can begin to u

22. ministrator rights TMA and its components are contained on the provided USB Flash Drive Please exit all other programs that are running before beginning the installation To install TMA to your PC perform the following Steps NOTE 1 Do not insert the USB security key until instructed to do so If TMA is already installed on the PC uninstall the existing TMA application prior to starting this TMA installation NOTE 2 The installation examples shown on the following pages represent a Windows 7 installation and may differ slightly in appearance to an installation on a PC running Windows 8 1 NOTE 3 MultiTech serial port modems Models MT5656ZDXV and MT5600ZDXV employed with older versions of TMA are compatible with this version of TMA 1 Place the USB Flash Drive into the PCs USB port If the AutoRun feature is enabled the main installation screen should appear in approximately 20 seconds If the installation does not start up automatically use Windows Explorer to open the USB Flash Drive folder and double click the Tma_Setup exe filename When the installation begins the following screen should appear i Setup Telephone Management Application E mE Welcome to the Telephone Management Application Setup Wizard This will install Telephone Management Application version TMA Version 7 6 0 on your computer Itis recommended that you cose all other applications before continuing Click Next to continue or
