11. s oFF The battery condition can be monitored by the dots in the upper left of the display When the battery is fully charged you will see 4 dots As the battery becomes discharged less dots will show on the display To charge the battery follow the instructions below Connect the AC adapter to the charger Plug the adapter into a 120VAC 60Hz outlet Turn the radio off and place the radio into the front pod of the charger The left LED turns on indicating the radio battery is charging When the radios battery charging is complete the LED turns off You can charge the radio and a spare battery at the same time In this case place the radio in the front pod of the charger and the spare battery in the rear pod of the charger Both LED s will come on When the batteries are charged the LED will turn off The radio battery will always charge first www midlandradio com a Se oo la l a G i ric I pe eT uo Le Page 8 of 11 Owner s Manual G 30 GMRS TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION No Power 1 Check battery installation and or replace batteries Cannot Receive Make sure the volume is set high enough Messages Confirm the radios have the same channel and or CTCSS code settings Change your location you may be out of range Install batteries properly or replace Buildings obstructions operating indoors or in vehicles may interfere with communication Change your location Make sure the radio is not transmit
