1. Arrange Users can be locked unable to move to the desktop Locking Users by selecting Lock from the Arrange menu on the desktop menu Selecting it again unlocks the users Users can be arranged manually by left clicking on them and dragging them to a new location on the screen View Users can be viewed three different ways Shows the status icon only The username can be Regular icons seen by holding the mouse over the user icon Shows the status icon the username and the current Large Icons 8 status Shows the user s screen as a small image The image Thumbnail resolution and refresh rate is determined by the settings specified under General Settings Applied Computer Systems Inc 36
2. and select Clear from the drop down menu A configurable Freeze Message which displays on any frozen locked screens may be entered in the General Settings Page Applied Computer Systems Inc A Blanking Overview Blanking is used to prevent users from being disrupted by the image on their screen This operation will force a black screen to be displayed This can be performed on an individual or a group of users When a screen is blanked the keyboard and mouse are locked and the client machine is changed to black A configurable message is displayed to the user indicating that the video is blanked Blanking A 2 Blank gt Clear Sde Blank Settings To Blank the active group click on the Blank button on the Action menu bar All connected users on the desktop will be blanked with the Blank message displayed as set in the General Settings display To Blank a single user right click on the user icon and choose Blank from the drop down menu Individual users whose screens have been blanked will display the Blank message as set in the General Settings display An example display To end blanking click on the Clear button or right click on the user icon and select Clear from the drop down menu A configurable Blank Message that displays on any blanked screen may be entered in the General Settings Page Applied Computer Systems Inc 20 R Groups Ov

11. ank Pause Resume Capture Freeze Blank Exit Pause on the current screen The screen will continue to update at the current rate Resumes scanning after a pause Captures a screenshot to the designated path While scanning freezes the currently viewed scanned screen and displays freeze message as entered in General Settings While scanning blanks the currently viewed scanned screen and displays blank message as entered in General Settings To exit scanning close the window using the l in the corner Applied Computer Systems Inc 2 Freezing Overview Freezing is used to lock an individual or a group of users When a PC is frozen the client keyboard and mouse is disabled A configurable message is displayed to the user indicating that the keyboard and mouse are locked Freezing Freeze Settings To Freeze all users in the active group click on the Freeze button on the Action menu bar All connected users on the desktop will be frozen with the Freeze message displayed as set in the General Settings display To freeze a single user right click on the user icon and choose Freeze from the drop down menu Individual users whose screens have been frozen locked will display the Freeze message as set in the General Settings display An example of a display in Freeze Mode To end freezing click on the Clear button or right click on the user icon
