Mini Bluetooth Keyboard User Manual SHBKB 9 shintaro com au shintaro Thank you for choosing The Shintaro Mini Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad The following user manual will outline the steps involved in connecting the keyboard to Laptops and Desktop PCs CONNECTION WITH LAPTOP Windows XP or later versions 1 Make sure the laptop already has a built in Bluetooth device Open Control Panel and double click Bluetooth Device Refer Picture 1 il iew Favorites Tools Help o 2 Pb Address Control Panel ro pina or Administrative Bluetooth Date and Time ispla Remov Tools Devi Gr Switch to Category View Picture 1 49 Windows Update O Help and Support 2 The Bluetooth Device dialog box will appear click Add Bluetooth device 3 Turn on keyboard the ON OFF switch is located underneath the keyboard KIE green light flashes quickly The List of Bluetooth Devices dialog box should appear Refer to Picture 2 2 Add Bluetooth Device Wizard Select the Bluetooth device that you want to add Picture 2 y It you dent sce the device that you wart to add make sure thet a turned on Follow the setup instructions that came wih the device f Search Agan ord then cick Search Agan I lt Back JL Nen J _Cencet_ Double click the Bluetooth keyboard icon the Bluetooth Passkey dialog box will appear Refer to Picture 3 Ad2. d Bluetooth Device Wizard Windows is exchanging passkeys E When instructed below enter the passkey using your Bluetooth device Placements le a pe en yan Picture 3 gt Connecting Please enter the pastkey on your Bluetooth device now Passkey 21499157 Instaling Bluetooth device Note You might need to press ENTER alter typing the patskey on a Bluetooth keyboard Input the password via the keyboard and press Enter to confirm The device has been added to the computer successfully dialog box should appear The device is now connected and you can use the keyboard CONNECTION WITH DESKTOP Win XP or later versions Please note A B Usually a PC does not have a built in Bluetooth device Please buy and install the Bluetooth dongle first If your Bluetooth dongle is fully compatible with Window XP or later versions please follow the same steps of CONNECTION WITH LAPTOP If not please connect the keyboard according to the following steps Install the IVT BlueSoleil driver which is supplied with the Bluetooth donale Double click the Bluetooth icon or IVT icon to open connection dialog Right click the central yellow ball icon and then click Search Devices Refer Picture 1 BlueS leil Ma ts Picture 1 f Mere Turn off Bluetooth Properties 4 Turn the SWITCH underneath the keyboard to the ON position DEA green light flashes
