UNITONE USER MANUAL FOR VIDEO INTERCOM amp ALARM SYSTEM 3000 SYSTEM FEATURES 1 RECEIVE CALLS FROM THE BUILDING CALL PANEL 2 CALLING THE CONCIERGE 3 VIEWS IN APARTMENT UNIT FROM THREE OTHER CAMERAS 4 TENANT INFORMATION STORED IN THE COMPUTER 5 MESSAGE SERVICE 6 COMPLETE INTRUSION ALARM SYSTEM A HOME MODE B AWAY MODE HOW TO USE YOUR APARTMENT VIDEO UNIT RECEIVING CALLS FROM THE BUILDING CALL PANEL As soon as the Visitor calls you you will hear a chime and see a view of the lobby on your monitor You can either e Pick up the handset and talk to the visitor or e Don t answer the visitor will not know if you are at home e To command the opening of the building door press the key button while the handset is off the hook NOTE The communication between the lobby panel and the apartment unit is preset for a period of time CALLING THE CONCIERGE e Pick up the handset listen for the dial tone e Press on your keypad VIEWS IN APARTMENT UNIT FROM THREE OTHER CAMERAS e In addition to the lobby view residents can obtain additional views from the three other cameras by pressing any one of the three eye buttons NOTE If the view is interrupted a flashing yellow light will indicate that a visitor has just called an apartment and therefore has priority TENANT INFORMATION STORED IN COMPUTER e You can give important information to the Concierge where it will be stored in th2. e computer and used in an emergency e You can also provide useful information about frequent visitors domestic help your pets etc in order to receive better security and services MESSAGE SERVICE e A green flashing light on your unit keypad indicates there s a message for you e When you call the Concierge to receive your message you can ask him her to delete or keep the message If you ask him her to delete the message the green light will turn off COMPLETE INTRUSION ALARM SYSTEM Setting or Changing the Security Code e Call the Concierge and ask for the code change authorization e He She will send you a short BEEP over the receiver e Enter your 4 digit code and then press the button before hanging up the handset No one not even the Concierge will know your code You can change this code as often as desired following the above procedure A Away Mode How to Activate e Make sure the front door is closed e Press ARM button the red light will illuminate e Leave apartment within 30 seconds How to Deactivate e Upon your return when you open the door beeps from the unit will remind you to enter your code which should be punched in within 30 seconds Press your 4 digit code and the button And the red light will be turned Off e If someone breaks into your apartment and does not punch in the code within 30 seconds your unit will sound an alarm pattern for a preset period of time and alert the co
